The arts and museum service in Wolverhampton has expanded and there are now three very different but all excellent places to visit.
There is the art gallery, right in the centre of town, where there are always interesting and at times challenging exhibitions.
The gallery has an amazing collection of contemporary Pop Art, sumptuous displays of Victorian and Georgian paintings and three national awards for the way it presents art to its visitors.

The stunning Edwardian Bantock House with its museum about Wolverhampton’s industry, nestled within the grounds of Bantock Park is just a mile from the city centre. Here visitors can discover the secrets of Wolverhampton’s history and admire the exquisite Decorative Arts collection that includes Enamels, Steel Jewellery and Japanned ware.
The newly re-furbished Bilston Craft Gallery, the largest dedicated craft venue in the region hosting a lively programme of temporary exhibitions featuring contemporary craft is in the centre of Bilston, just a five minute bus or tram ride from the city centre. The gallery hosts a brand new permanent exhibition, Craftsense, which provides an introduction to crafts from the 1700s to the present day.
Wolverhampton Arts and Museum Service has a long history of making art and crafts accessible to the widest possible audience. To find out more about our Art Gallery, Craft Gallery and Museum visit our website.
