Feedback/Credits

I f this format looks familiar, you've probably visited my SimuCon 2000 page. I liked it so much, I decided to duplicate it. If you haven't seen my SimuCon site, you can link to it by visiting the Feedback/Credits section at the left of your screen.

For those who have never been to VegasCon before, it's a wild ride! From the two hour cab line to get to the hotel to the three bedroom, four bathroom penthouse at the Sahara, it was a party like no one had seen.

When I arrived at the hotel and checked in, I took the elevator to the hospitality suite of the Tangiers Tower. I walked in and saw about seven people seated on couches quietly chatting. A bit puzzled, I wandered toward the other room and saw about 10 people clustered around a bar. "Is this the Dragonrealms check-in?" I asked. "No," they said. "DR is in the other tower, room 1501."

I wandered back down and over to the Tunis Tower and punched the PH button in the elevator. When the doors opened, I was greeted by a huge wave of sound and laughter and about five people standing at the registration desk with big grins on their faces. "Ahhhhh" thought I. "These...these are my people."

Kudos and thanks to all of the hard working people who put this convention together (my third VegasCon), and to all the people who attended with stories to share. If you haven't been to a VegasCon, start making plans to go in 2003. When you step off the elevator, I'll probably be one of the grins waiting to greet you.
