Hi to all you amazing Amy fans,
I'm so sorry I've let you brilliant Amy fans down and can't update this site anywhere near as much as I desperatly want to just please try and bare with me I promise I will get this site back up to what you expect from me and much more. Those who who know me will understand why I can't at the moment.

Apologies for the lack of updates on the U.K.’s top Singer/Songwriter, but I’ve been having a lot of stressful stuff going on in my personal life, which has made it very difficult to put the time into AMY STUDT INFO for which I apologies. But hopefully everything should be back on track in the next few weeks, and I’ve got lots of exciting new idea’s lined up for the coming months.
But most importantly AMY IS BACK and it’s been well worth the wait and if you don’t believe me check out AMY STUDT'S OFFICIAL MYSPACE.
Yes it really is Amy’s Official Myspace! Here’s a copy of a message Amy recently sent me – “ Amy Studt here. Just letting you know that I have a myspace page that is in it’s early stages set up, playing bits of new tunes and listing when gigs are coming up. Come check it out as the cogs once again began to turn. Thanks for all your support over the years. It has meant a lot”.

I’ve just received some news hot off the press, thanks go to Chris McKenna for this, which may or may not involve our very own Amy Studt! On Sunday 18th June at 12.45pm – 1.20pm at the Middlesborough Music Live Free Festival the band entitled Jane Wails will be performing. Whether Amy is the lead singer or not still remains a mystery but thanks again to Chris McKenna we may be getting closer to the real identity to who really fronts this band as Chris found the following quote. ”Powerful and expressive, intimate and angry…lead singer Amy credits artists as diverse as The Dresden Dolls, Stina Nordenstrom and Janis Joplin in helping shape her arresting new sound”. Notice the lead singer is called Amy! And the description could only describe one person. So is this our Amy or not? You decide!

Hi Amy fans Worldwide,
Now do you want the good news or the bad news first? Well I’ll give you the good first. If you head on over to Guy Sigsworth myspace website at Guy Sigsworth Myspace You’ll be able to listen to a new Amy track by the name of, ‘My Paper Made Man’. Guy Sigsworth is a songwriter/Producer who has been involved with such artists as Madonna, Bjork, Seal, Britney Spears, Sugababes etc.
You’ll notice that your unable to download the track as the download option has not been activated, which is a great shame as this excellent track would make a great addition to any MP3 collection. But hold on! Before you start getting frustrated with your computers help is on hand. A very helpful Amy fan by the name of Andrew Howard told me of a way to get round this announce. If you Google, ‘HarddiskOGG’ you’ll be able to record the track to your hard drive as a MP3 or .WAV file :-) Thanks for that Andrew.
Some other information I’d like to make you aware of is there are some very strong rumours that Amy has reformed under the name of ‘Jane Wails’.

Now for the bad news! At this moment in time I am unable to confirm this and uploading info I cannot confirm goes against what I generally do, as I ignore gossip and rumours, as this is tabloid mentality, which I disagree with. But the rumours all point to Amy being the lead singer, as the various forums all agree this to be the case by the people who have witnessed this band. But until I can get photographic proof of this I cannot and will not confirm this. But as soon as I can one way or the other I’ll post it right here.

Hi people,

As promised it’s time to get your thinking caps on as it’s time for the first Amy Studt Quiz of the year. Amy has a love for vintage corsets, which she buys from a shop in Bournemouth, and the question is………yes you’ve guessed it, what is the name of the shop? I’ll give you a clue, the name of the shop is also the name of a German City.

The competition will run till the end of the month when the winner will be notified by email. Hi Amy fans Worldwide,

As you probably all know Amy’s .com website is still under construction but whether this is a good or bad sign I’m afraid it’s just a case of keep them fingers crossed.

Hits to AmyStudt.Info are still on the increase so as I said before the general worldwide interest is back for our talented Amy. I can’t specifically say why things are picking up again, but hey the fact that they are shows positive signs. And talking of positive things the Exclusive Amy Studt Info Black T-Shirt is now available from the online store.

Also coming soon will be the first competition of the year with a prize of a 10" x 8" Victorian Vignette Style conversion of a photo of yourself or family, pet etc. for the winner thanks to www.theoldfilmcompany.com. And a runner up prize of a Amy Studt Bumper Sticker, so keep an eye out for this in the next few weeks.

Hi All,
Hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year, and I'd just like to say a big thank you to everybody who has taken the time to do the various surveys and emailed, as your feedback is always appreciated, and remember I'm always open to new idea's you'd like to see here at www.amystudt.info
Yes it's that time of year again where I've put together all your results from the whole of 2005 and put them in a little graph above, so take a look and see what you think. Do you agree? Are you surprised? But one thing that is obvious again is that the outstanding track Ladder In My Tights should have been released as a single and I can't help but feel a golden opportunity was missed. Plus there is one noticeable omission, which clearly shows Amy fans just do not like cover tracks. Any way enough of the negative stuff, lets look at the positive side of 2006. Well over the last couple of weeks there has been a noticeable increase of visits to this site, well in fact visits have more then doubled, so the festive season has brought with it a new interest in Amy, which is great. And remember if you want to see where your Country ranks with visits to this site, just head on over to the AmyStudt.Info Country Popularity Positioner.
What else is coming 2006? Well fingers crossed we’ll be able to bring you something positive regarding Amy. I’m going to start work on updating the calendar for 2006 for you to download. Plus later in the New Year we should have a new and exciting range of AmyStudt.Info clothing exclusive to this site, including the all New Black T-Shirts.
