Amy Jane Studt was born in London on 22nd of March 1986.

Amy grew up in London and Bournemouth where she got the music bug. Amy's a self taught pianist from the age of nine, and also had a dabble with the guitar. But her ambition in life is to be an established musician. Well Amy's got no worries there.

Amy is one of a rare breed in the modern music industry , as she can not only sing but also write her own music and play the instruments in her songs. Which seems to be a dying breed nowadays.

Amy made her debut on the 1st of July, 2002 with the release of her first single, "Just A Little Girl". American critics are saying Amy sounds like,"A Fevered clash between Tori Amos & Courtney Love", while other critics are calling Amy the new Alanis Morissette.
