TESAME Adding Textures As Altered When Theyre Not

For those who are familiar with TESAME, you'll remember that the creator of that very useful program says that when textures show up on the list of altered things, you should not delete them because it will cause in-game errors.

Now, Suran Underworld has a number of textures that are listed as changed by TESAME. To my knowledge I haven't altered any (heck, I don't even know how to alter any). My question is, why are they showing up on my list of things altered? Also, is there a way to prevent this from happening? Finally, has anybody else deleted texture alterations with TESAME, and did you run into problems after doing so?

===================================================

You might not have changed any of the textures but the author of the mod very probably did. That's thge reason why they show up. If you delete them one of two things might happen:

1- previously textured objects will start showing up as white untextured meshes or

2- (specially with ground textures) the patch of land might revert to as it was before author made his/her changes.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, as it happens, I'm the author of the mod, and I know I didn't alter any textures.

I should probably add that it is mostly my curiosity at work here. As far as I can tell, those textures that show up as altered in TESAME, do not show up on the "details" list in TESCS. Nor do they generate any errors that I've been able to detect. My worry is that they increase the chances that my mod might conflict with another (that, and their presence on the TESAME list, offends my sense of neatness).

---------------------------------------------------------------------

You most definitely shouldn't delete these textures.

I dont know why TESAME does this, but I have deleted these textures before...all I can say is thank God I had a backup of the esp....
