I was cuirous about why all those long phisiqued hairs don't show up in the race menu, so I messed in 3ds max a little to see what's wrong and I come up with a solution:
The Bipped must be as usuall 128 units tall and first you must move it to X=0 and Y=0.
Then I moved the white diamond (Bip01) with "Affect Object Only" to X=0, Y=0 and Z=0.
The hair's pivot point must also be at X=0, Y=0 and Z=0.
After you phisiqued the hair and everything is perfect with it in the game, simply move Bip01 to:
X = -0.02
Y= 0.65
Z = 9.6
(Note that the whole bipped and the hair should move to the new position.)
and after you export it again it will show up in the race menu.
