If you’re looking for facts, you’re in the wrong place. Frankie and Ernie don’t have the intellectual capacity to define or explain God. We’re not sure that any human bean can do that.
Maybe we can help you to figger it yourself. When God Created man and then woman, His Design included free will that made His new Videogame more Interesting. With unlimited ability to choose between this and that, those new people would make amazing decisions and create endless situations to make the Game more interesting and not always good or right. We need to explain a couple things that we do know in our dumb heads. First, God Knows how restricted our brain is, in understanding. He could Have Created some of us or all of us beans with rubber skulls to allow our capacity to grow. Nah, God Figgered we’d get so big-headed we’d fall over and die or something. He Made us dumb enough to Make His Game better and not smart enough to figger everything like He Does. He Knew in advance that the people would create things of their own, trying to make their life better. They even tried to improve what He Had Done, with little success. As an example, in God’s Person, every bit of Knowledge or Wisdom Existed as a single Thought that He Named His "Word." Men and women figgered that they would invent a system of communication that would make God’s Word more understandable to all beans. After figgerin the concept, they called it language with zillions of pieces to further explain what God Meant in His Thought. With the questionable help of dudes and dudettes, God’s Word became god’s words. Sure enough, it was never enough and endless volumes of words only complicated people’s misunderstanding of God. God is not understandable with intelligence. Intelligence is human. God is not human. God is a Spirit. Intelligence is a function of the brain and when the body dies, the brain dies with most of its knowledge, but not quite all. Spirits think but they don’t us words. What we know in our heads is mostly words and language. Or is that a false assumption ? Is that partly why we can’t know or understand God ? Maybe understanding and intellect aren’t everything. Ye think ? We’ve pointed out that words are built on foundations of thought. Each word has a certain meaning. No, sorry, the meanings of words are not always certain. Thoughts are certain but words are not. Thoughts are spiritual. Words are human creations. Let’s give that a wee bit more consideration. Church people have trouble with spiritual things and even just the meaning of that word. There are two very different sources of learning. One is obviously the physical component that we identify as the brain. The other is the spirit. In the Piece titled "Insight" we saw how things can be provable, factually, but also believable, actually. "The spirit" exists actually but we have trouble trying to prove it as a fact. We can explain things that we can know with our brain but other things are deeper and hidden from our human knowledge. We use a human word "Wisdom" to differentiate between knowing intellectually and realising "in the spirit." We realise thoughts "in the spirit." We said that there are two ways that we can know or realise God. The first is with God’s Word or god’s words, or one of the many versions of what we call the Bible. Those words are quite sound, philosophically and historically and, for those reasons alone, it pays to study them carefully and to apply them to everyday life. But there’s more to God’s Word than words. The underlying Thought originates in The Mind of The Soul of God. God is a Spirit. His Thoughts are Spiritual. Any one of those Thoughts is a bundle of Wisdom that any bean can profit from. And it doesn’t take much intelligence to realise spiritual thought. Any dumbhead can do it. God Knows everything that can be known and He Shares His Wisdom with us. Books, other than the Bible, are similar with words based on thought and that thought is spiritual too. If we capitalise it, we can understand better when we are referring to The Spirit of God. The word "spirit" means a realm of thought that every bean is in the midst of. A spirit is like a vapor that fills every bit of space everywhere, even within our bodies and souls. The Spirit of God is that "vapor" that envelopes us with life. When we read or hear words, spiritual thought gives them certain meaning. Webster and Roget had a ball explaining the many definitions of "spirit" and the long list of alternate words that are similar. The Cubs have "almost enough spirit to win baseball games." When we read a book that concerns a scientific or historical concept, the words are reinforced by the underlying spiritual thought which might give us a different understanding than the words do alone. The words might be little more than gibberish but the thought goes deeper. The Bible is that way too. The words might have one meaning that becomes more definite as we ponder the thought that is the basis for the words. We say that the writers were Inspired by God. That means that they heard and recorded the Thoughts of God to pass along to you and me. Frankie and Ernie have discovered that we too can be Inspired by The Thoughts of God and His Word. As we read the words that some ancient dude wrote for our benefit, we are also Inspired to realise Truth behind the words. And, as you read the words in this website, you can be likewise inspired, not by the words of PFP but by the thoughts associated, if your spirit is open to it. You can inspire others also with spiritual thoughts. What we have explained above is what the FEC calls the "Silent Voice" or the SV that we often mention. There are those two ways that we can know Who God Is. Your definition might be different than mine but those are only bean words. Maybe you know a different language than I do or maybe we have been taught different "religious" concepts. There is only One God ! He Knows all lingos and all creeds and some we’ve never heard. Believing in God, Whoever we realise He is, will be our first step. If we are open to the Guidance of the Silent Voice, other steps will lead us to our chosen destiny. Finally, there is another spirit that we need to be aware of and to avoid. We have him identified as the Devil Dude or the DD and he works very hard to interrupt our relationship with a Personal God and with each other. The DD was in the Garden of Eden over there near Iraq and he tempted the very first beans to oppose God. As a result, they got canned and lost their rights to Paradise. Yes, the DD is also a spirit and a Real snake in the grass ! God is a Spirit. Frankie and Ernie are spirits. King Solomon and Dr. Luke and Paul, the politician, were all spirits. We all are. A spirit lives eternally with "life" that is The Spirit of God, Who Lived before time began and beyond the end of time. You can read about this in other Pieces for Peace. And don’t miss the stuff about the SV ! Each soul that has personally lived in a human body has been Personally Created by God with that Miracle we know and realise as The Silent Voice. Your diligent and thoughtful study of God’s Word and seeking the Ever-Present Guidance of the SV will Inspire you to realise Who God is. When you reach that level of faith, you will learn Who God is. God is a Spirit. Remember that words are human creations. SWIS ? |
