For a believer, the situation is more likely to be remote but the closest of friends or relatives do unexpected things that can be devastating, not only to the departed person.

An unbeliever might see a loved one, exasperated, terminate humanity, believing that it’s their own decision that affects no one else. After all, who’s life is it ? Besides, what is life anyway ?

Some of our comments here will be hard to accept at first but we urge you to consider other things that you’ve learned about life and death, maybe something that you’ve seen here in Pieces for Peace.

Abortion is another topic that is difficult to discuss because of strong intellectual arguments on many sides of the issue. Is it right or wrong, moral or not ? What does God say about it or is that beside the point ?

You know that Frankie and Ernie are not credentialed and their opinions should be questioned, intellectually. Others have certainly more training and experience in these areas of life and death that warrant consultation. But it is not entirely that way. God Advises that we "prove" everything, not just accept things blindly or with assumptions. He Provides us all with an inner spirit that connects us with Godly Wisdom.

In a family situation, suicide or abortion are crises. It’s common for relatives and friends to demonstrate personal guilt regarding the tragedy. Words are human creations that are built upon thoughts which are spiritual and occur in bunches. Frankie and Ernie describe this thought life as the SV or the Silent Voice of an inner spirit.

The surviving friends and relatives consider these silent thoughts and ask themselves "why ?" or "could I have … ?" or "what if … ?" and other bunches of thoughts. There are no answers, but much guilt.

What is happening is evidence that the Devil Dude is working effectively to create doubt and guilt that will distract us from focusing on the Real situation which we have no way of understanding with our heads. That would be a realisation of the spiritual Truth that God Has Acted !

Through the victim’s lifetime, we have been concerned with the person’s physical presence and now that is gone ! What has always existed – the soul – still lives and will continue forever. We forget about the soul of a living human and eternal life because we only partially know people !

In abortion, we believe that God Allows for limited ability of a child to be able to know the difference between Right and Wrong. For one who is older when humanity ends, Judgment Will be made Accordingly, based on the person’s acceptance of God’s Terms.

Every human person is more than just a mortal body. We believe that each is an individual soul, Created Personally by God. We can argue, logically, about many things. For example, there are claims and opinions about when life begins and if life extends into the future after what is commonly called "death." There are answers with actual evidence that are not acceptable as factual proof. We considered reality from the actual and factual viewpoints in the Piece titled "Insight." Life isn’t always what we think it is. We can argue about some things, like mental opinions, but not about spiritual Truth.

In premature death of an individual, we should keep in our mind the Reality that the person was and is a spirit, "in the image of God," with eternal life like God. The human person was a soul more than a body and now the body has ended its existence but the soul has moved on to a different homesite. Our thoughts should relate to that new Place and to the Reality that our own future can be the same.

We can argue about most human things that are provable or questionable in our minds. If there is proof or reasonable evidence, we can establish opinions, upon which we can build a concept. Frankie and Ernie have realized that certain things cannot be known logically and intellectually because they are in a different dimension of Reality. In these Pieces, we have considered the Omniscient Wisdom of God as compared to the limited knowledge of mankind.

God is a Spirit. We can conjure the meaning of that but we can only realise spiritual Truth. We can’t really know things that are not human. Our scope of human understanding is limited. We can argue about intellectual concepts but not about things of the spirit.

Words are human creations that are built upon a foundation of thought. Thought is spiritual. God Has Thoughts that are far beyond the measures of human intellect and we are fortunate to have access to that Wisdom through what Frankie and Ernie have called "The Silent Voice" within each of our souls.

Let’s get back to life and death. Can we humans terminate our life ? Is it "our" life ? What is life, by definition ?

We believe that the best way for a believer to consider "life" is to realise it The Spirit of God. … Huh ?

If you don’t believe in One God Who is the Creator of Everything, Who Has always Existed, you will have to rely on other human words for your definition. Frankie and Ernie believe and trust in that One God. We believe that God is alive today and that he Has always and Will always Be God, a Spirit.

If God Has Life, where did it come from ? Did it evolve or did some Alien invent it or "create" it ?

The Thoughts of the Bible and the SV (Silent Voice) tell us that God Has Life that is Eternal. The same Sources tell us that we humans are Creations of God "in His Image." That seems to say that we, like God, are also spirits, not just bodies. If we are Creations of God, in His Image, then it is logical to assume that "our" life is eternal. It is not "my life" or some kind of political entity but, rather, a Gift of God on a spiritual Lease for a portion of time. "Life" is God and His Property. … Huh ?

God Created one human in the beginning. For a while, this individual was both or neither male nor female. At a Certain time God Separated the one into two, male and female, and He Gave them the Miraculous ability to create more like themselves. They created sons and daughters and, eventually, others like you and me.

Our bodies are humanly created, not Directly by God. All human creations are destined to fail in time, thus what we see as "death." Humans try to make their creations last longer but time and circumstances interfere. A lifetime is uncertain.

So what’s the big deal about suicide and abortion ? We can go further and wonder about war and capital punishment and lots of other things too. It isn’t that simple when you consider something else. Or maybe it’s even simpler … Ye think ?

At some point, around the time of conception of a human life, God Personally Steps in and Does His Thing. He Creates a new personal soul and Gives it Life, on Lease. Humanly designed creeds or doctrines specify rules which might be right or not. God Requires a soul to obey them until we realise more Truth from the Silent Voice. A Feature of the soul that God Personally Creates is the Presence of the SV, a spiritual companion for the period of life that Has Been Leased to us.

No, we can’t prove any of that. You can only realise spiritual Truth personally, with the help of the Silent Voice and True Scripture. If you are honestly open to the Guidance of the SV, you will realise things that, otherwise, you cannot know intellectually. We can’t prove anything that is spiritual.

We’re getting down to important basics now. God Created each soul According to His Unique Plan for an Eternal Reality.

After a Certain period of training and experience each person becomes responsible for his or her willful decisions during the Lease. The soul has a Free will that is under the complete control of the human mind.

As human beans, we prefer to make our own decisions. That’s human nature. God Allows us to make our own choices regarding mortality and about immortality. In fact, that is The Reason for Creating Personal Souls. A word we can use to try and define God’s Reason is responsibility. We are each responsible for making Right decisions.

The Soul was Created with necessary knowledge to be totally responsible for all actions and choices and decisions. That original knowledge is supplemented by the realisation of Truth that Scripture and the SV Provide. We can be safe if we allow the "dead man switch" of the SV to function properly or we can override that security with self-orientation.

For some, life ends shortly after birth and even before. Others live a long time, with or without pain or dysfunction. We are considering now the lives that are intentionally squelched. In any case, when human life ends, it’s over. God Decides when and He Knows how it will occur.

No, we can’t terminate life by our own act. We can intend and want life to end but no person can end life. Life is the Eternal Spirit of God. Our decision is willful and personal but God "Terminates" life in a way that we cannot understand. God Knows and Judges our actions and reactions with a level of Wisdom that we humans cannot relate to. Yes, the body ceases to exist but the soul lives on.

God’s Judgment probably works something like this. He Knows everything that we know in our dumb heads. He Feels all that we feel in our emotions. He Realises our belief and our intent to be Right or Wrong. He Considers the circumstances that we have endured. He Balances a whole lifetime of actions and reactions with our experiences. God is not Subject to human religion or doctrine. God is God. Finally, He Judges our willful intent in fulfilling the personal Lease Terms.

All life is eternal because God is Eternal. The only thing in question is our optional choice of a permanent homesite. We hope that those we love will realise Heaven but many will not.

Rather than grieve hopelessly about those who have departed, having chosen to dismiss themselves from humanity, we can focus attention on our own soul and those who remain so that the rest of us will realise eternal life in Heaven.

God is not just Good, in human terms, but He is Good and Just in every case.

We have Free will and our decision is final.
