PAT WATFORD RIP
The death is announced of Pat Watford (Tye Green). Pat sadly passed away on Sunday 2 January 2011. The funeral service will take place on Friday 21 January, 3 pm, at Parndon Wood Cemetery, Parndon Wood Road, Harlow CM19 4SF

IVAN FENNELL RIP
The death is announced of Ivan Fennell (Aldersbrook BC and Ilford IBC). Ivan sadly died on Wednesday 26 January 2011. It is believed that Ivan was a member of Aldersbrook for over 50 years. The funeral will take place on Thursday 10 February 2011 at 2.30pm at the City Of London Cemetery & Crematorium,  Aldersbrook Road  E12 5DQ. Afterwards at the Aldersbrook Bowls Club, Aldersbrook Road, E12 5DY

JIM SUGDEN RIP
The death is announced of Jim Sugden, formerly Thorpe Bay BC. Jim, 89, sadly passed away on Thursday 27 January 2011 in Bedford Hospital. He had been a long standing member of the County Executive prior to moving to Bedford a few years ago. The funeral will take place on Tuesday 15 February, 12.15, at Bedford Crematorium.

INTERNATIONAL TRIALISTS
Romford's Steve Mitchinson has been selected for the Senior Trial on Sunday 29 May at Norgren BC, Shipston-on
-Stour, Warwickshire. Andrew Squire is a travelling reserve.
Edward Morris (Essex County), Lee Chaplin and Mark Nullmeyers (Elm Park) have been selected for the Junior
Trial on Saturday 28 May, also at the Norgren BC.

COUNTY SINGLES ENTRIES
The Competition Secretary advises, with regret, that the two extra entries provided for the County Singles to bring the
figures submitted to Worthing to the required minimum to grant the County a third competitor in the Nation
Championships were not forwarded to Worthing. As a consequence there will only be two places in the
Championships this year. The Competition Secretary apologises unreservedly to all competitors for this omission.
