24V Cosworth V6
The Cosworth 24V is now one of the most popular conversions and for good reason.
These engines have never been more affordable and the results are spectacular. The information gathered here is just a taste of what can be achieved with the right parts. Yes - there are short-cuts - take a look at the various forums if you want to cut corners but don't bring the resulting problems to us. The simple rules for a reliable swap Use the engine how Ford intended with the oxygen sensors and the speed sensor. Use a radiator much the same size as the Granada item - not the old Capri rubbish. Fit a gearbox and clutch that will handle the power and torque - not the type 9 The later 'BOB' Scorpio engine is now more available but there are problems using it. Ask before you buy.
