Enfield 2-4 Stansted

ESL 15.03.10.

Paul Oshin was back after finishing his suspension, Wes Borghys was injured so Chris Green started and Lee Benmore returned to the side.

Enfield won a free kick after 3mins, it went to Wayne Grant but he shot well wide of goal. A min later Stansted had a free kick Tandon part cleared the ball, but Guy Bonwick made sure and hoofed it up field to Benmore. Stansted's corner on 6mins was blocked by Denney, but Stansted were soon on the attack again, but the E's defence dealt with the danger. A foul on Oshin after 8mins, produced Enfield's first real goal scoring chance. Andy Denney's kick found Lopes, but his header went straight to the Stansted keeper. In the 10min Chris Green brought the ball out of the E's half unchallenged, but as he got to the half way line he was sent crashing to the ground. He sent the free kick into the Stansted area, but it went straight to their keeper. With 13 mins gone Stansted attacked down the right flank, the cross came in to an unmarked player, who headed it passed Mbaky in the E's goal 0-1. 3mins later Stansted did the same move and scored again 0-2. Lee Benmore's cross on 19mins went straight over the E's attack heads and out for a throw in. 1min later Grant did the same move, this time it went out for a corner. Joe May's kick was put out for another corner, but this came to nothing. A promising move on 23mins started with Benmore, his run and pass to May, then found Balic, but the Stansted defence cleared the danger. Daniel Mbaky was equal to a Stansted attack on 28mins, saving the final shot. 1min later Denney's cross was too high for the E's attackers to reach. Wayne Grant had a great chance to score on 35mins, he met Denney's cross, but his control let him down and it went out for a goal kick. 1min later Paul Oshin set up May, but his shot went over the bar. Grant was fouled just outside the Stansted penalty area after 37mins, but Lee Benmore's kick went straight over the bar. With half time approaching Mbaky did well to hold on to a Stansted cross, while under pressure. The last chance of the half fell to Enfield, Benmore run and pass to Grant was returned to him, but under pressure from the defenders he lost control of the ball. Half time Enfield 0-2 Stansted. Enfield started the 2nd half with much more determination and with 52mins gone Lee Benmore's corner found Lopes head but it went just wide. 2mins later a great tackle in the E's area by Chris Green, stopped a promising attack by Stansted. 1min later they had another chance, but the final shot went over the E's goal. On 56mins Lopes and Grant were replaced by Nkrumah and Healey, then a min later Samuel replaced May. Healey set up Nkrumah on 63mins and he made no mistake shooting low pass the keeper 1-2. 5mins later it was all square the ball was sent into the area and Healey got the final touch 2-2. Stansted were awarded a penalty after 74mins and this was converted 2-3. Elvis Balic had a shot blocked on 81mins and a min later he shot wide of goal. Barkingside 1-1 Enfield

Paul Oshin is suspended, Simon Karrie is injured and Lee Benmore was not available. Adilson Lopes wears the no 4 shirt, Marvin Samuel makes his debut wearing no 7 and Wayne Grant who has resigned is on the bench.

Enfield's first chance came after 2mins of play, when Marvin Samuel pass from midfield to Healey, his run and shot was saved by the Barkingside keeper. 3mins later Samuel was the provider for Healey again, but his shot went over the bar. Wes Borghys free kick on 6mins caused panic in the Barkingside box, the ball fell to Jerry Nkrumah whose shot was well saved by the keeper, it came out to Lopes, but his shot went wide of the goal .4mins later Joe May pass to Nkrumah saw him get into a good shooting position with just the keeper to beat, but the keeper made a good stop. Barkingside then broke down the right wing, but from the final pass they shot over Mbaky's bar. 2mins later a long throw into the E's box was saved by Daniel Mbaky, but the Barkingside no 5 was penalized for a challenge on the keeper and a free kick was awarded. Freddy Tandon clearance found Lopes, he saw Samuel free on the right wing and on receiving the ball Samuel unleashed a shot on goal, which the keeper could on parry and his defenders cleared the ball. Jerry Nkrumah challenge with the keeper for the ball on 16mins was judged by the referee to have been unfair and a free kick was awarded. Andy Denney's headed clearance upfield was put into touch, then his long throw into the box was put behind for a corner. May's corner was easily cleared by Barkingside's defence and they broke away and got into the E's half, but the shot went over the bar on 20mins. A foul on Nkrumah after 22mins midway into the Barkingside half, saw a Borghys free kick cleared by their defence. Another free kick by Borghys 2mins later sailed over the Enfield's attackers straight into the keepers arms. 1mins later Wes Borghys throw in found the head of Nkrumah, he headed it to Samuel who tapped it onto Healey, but his shot went wide. Denney's throw in on 26mins was put out for a corner. May's corner was cleared and Barkingside went on the attack. They got into the E's box and shot at goal, Mbaky got a hand to it but the ball finally ended up in the Enfield's net. 1-0 to Barkingside after 28mins. 1min later Lopes had a chance to equalize but his shot was saved by the keeper. Lopes shot on 37mins was saved by the keeper, but the ball came out to Healey, his shot hit the back of the net, but was adjudged to have been offside. With 3mins of normal time remaining Joe May was upended in the penalty box and Wes Borghys made no mistake from the spot. That was his hat trick of penalties, one in each of the last 3 games. Half time 1-1. 1min after the restart Enfield were awarded a free kick, just outside the box. May's kick was flicked on by Lopes, it hit a defender and found its way to Samuel, his shot was saved by the keeper. Barkingside had a chance on 49mins, but the shot went over Mbaky's bar. 2mins later Balic set up Samuel, but he shot wide of goal. Nkrumah's shot was then saved 1min later, May put the ball back into the area but it went out for a goal kick. Wes Borghys timely tackle on 54mins, prevented Barkingside from a scoring chance. Wayne Grant replaced Billy Healey after 55mins. 4mins later May's cross-found Grant, but Nkrumah put his pass wide of goal. Borghys free kick after 62mins found Grant, but his shot went wide. Enfield had a great chance on 66mins, Nkrumah's pass found Samuel, he could not control the ball, it went to Grant his shot was blocked, the ball came to Nkrumah and his shot was finally cleared. Ocran replaced Samuel on 67mins. Both teams had chances to score, but both defences held firm and draw was a fair result. Full time 1-1

Clapton 0-5 Enfield

Adilson Lopes has recovered from injury and is on the bench, along with new signing Shane Baptiste.

Enfield started very lively and in the first minute, Jerry Nkrumah hit the Clapton bar with a header from Joe May's free kick. Joe May then had a shot at goal the keeper got his hand to it pushing it away, but Jerry Nkrumah following up hit the ball goal bound, but the keeper got both hands on the ball this time. Nkrumah had another shot at goal in the 3rd min, the keeper put this one out for a corner. May's corner was cleared by the Clapton defence, they advanced on the E's goal, but Clapton's cross was dealt with by Daniel Mbaky in the E's goal. Billy Healey shot wide of goal with 6mins gone, then a min later Balic put Benmore clear, his cross to Nkrumah was put out for a corner. May's corner was cleared by Clapton's defence and they broke away towards the E's goal, but Guy Bonwick broke up the attack. With 11mins gone Jerry Nkrumah's run beat a defender and the keeper, to slot the ball home. 0-1 Enfield. 2mins later Andy Denney's pass to Lee Benmore sent him on a run, his one two with Nkrumah saw him try to chip the Clapton keeper, but he got his hands to the ball. Clapton then went on the attack, but Mbaky made a good diving save to clear. On 17mins Daniel Mbaky was brought into action again making a double save from Clapton's attackers. Healey's one two with Nkrumah saw him shoot wide of goal 2mins later. Jerry Nkrumah beat the Clapton defence on 22mins, but as he rounded the keeper with the goal as his mercy, the flag was raised for offside. Andy Denney's long ball found Billy Healey and he made no mistake, beating the keeper on 36mins. 0-2 Enfield. The E's continued to attack the Clapton goal, but with no reward. Half time 0-2 Enfield.

With 56mins of the 2nd half gone Healey's pass to Nkrumah sent him on a run into the Clapton penalty area, rounding the keeper to score his 2nd goal of the game. 0-3 Enfield. 2mins later Nkrumah with his work done was replaced by Shaun Clarke. Clarke was in the action straight away the Keeper saving at his feet. Mbaky made 2 saves in quick suggestion from Clapton attacks. Shane Baptiste replaced Andy Denney after 72mins. A great run and cross by Clarke was not dealt with by Clapton and Elvis Balic slotted the ball home to make 0-4 Enfield after 77mins. Geoff Ocran replaced Lee Benmore after 78mins. The E's had further chances to increase their lead, but had to wait until the 89min, when Healey was brought down in the area. Wes Borghys made no mistake from the spot. Enfield 2-0 Southend Manor

New signing Simon Karrie made his 1st start and Chris Green was on the bench after recovering from his injury at the start of the season. Neil Hughes and Adilson Lopes are injured.                                                                       

Enfield got of to a flying start forcing a corner in the 1st minute, but Joe May's corner was easily cleared by the Manor defence. 1min later May burst through into the penalty area, his shot was saved. Wes Borghys throw into the Manor box was cleared out to May, but he shot wide of the goal. After 4mins Southend made their first raid on the E's goal, Mbaky easily saving the shot. 1min later Enfield were on the attack again, Manor cleared the danger, but Lee Benmore picked up the loose ball, his shot went wide of goal. E's were awarded a free kick on 10mins, but Wes Borghys kick was easily dealt with by the Manor defence. Paul Oshin took on the Manor midfield and after dribbling past them, he managed to get the ball delivered to Joe May, his shot went wide. Wes Borghys took a free kick, not far outside the Manor penalty box on 15mins; it passed the E's attackers and went out for a goal kick. 1min later May tried to chip a ball over the Manor defence for Jerry Nkrumah to run on to, but the keeper saw the danger and  came quickly of his line to get the ball. Nkrumah was put through on goal after 18mins, the keeper came and dived to get the ball, it bounced up in the air, but the linesman flagged for offside with the goal unguarded. Southend then got the ball quickly up field to their attackers, but their shot was saved by Mbaky in the E's goal. Freddy Tandon's long ball up the field found Billy Healey on 20mins, but his cross went just put wide of the Manor goal. Joe May's cross into the Manor penalty area found Lee Benmore, but his close range shot just went wide. Wes Borghys timley clearance from a Southend corner on 22mins, prevented their attackers with a goal scoring opportunity. They had a another chance soon after, but the shot went wide of Mbaky's goal, then Guy Bonwick's excellent tackle stop Southend from getting close to the E's goal again. An Enfield free kick on 24mins was easily cleared by Southend and from this they pushed the ball towards the E's goal and again Guy Bonwick made a great tackle to clear the ball. A Southend corner on 28mins was dealt with by Wes Borghys, who put it into touch, Enfield defence cleared the throw in up field to Lee Benmore, his cross into the Manor box was cleared to Paul Oshin, but his shot went wide, Healey tried to divert it into the net. Simon Karrie's pass out to Healey sent him down the right wing, but his cross was put out for a corner. Joe May's corner found the head of Healey, but he put it wide of the goal on 32mins. Southend got a free kick well inside Enfield's half for a late tackle. Once again the E's defence stood firm and cleared the danger. Southend had a great goal scoring chance from a cross on 36mins, it was headed down to the right of Mbaky's goal, but he got to the ball pushing it out for a corner. 3mins later Jerry Nkrumah won a free kick for a push on him; Andy Denney's kick was cleared by the Manor defence. Bonwick headed clear a goal bound shot on 41mins and the last chance of the half fell to Benmore, but his shot went wide of Southend's goal. Half time 0-0          

Enfield got of to a great start in the second half, with 3mins played Freddy Tandon took on the Manor defence got his cross into the box and Billy Healey sent the ball into the back of the Manor net. 1-0 to Enfield. Manor's free kick on 50mins was put wide of the E's goal. 6mins later Healey received the ball, he got into the area and his goal bound shot was put out for a corner. Paul Oshin jumped for the corner and got his head to the ball, but could not send it goal bound. Elvis Balic replaced Simon Karrie on 57mins. A Wes Borghys free kick on 65mins for a foul, was sent into the area but the E's attack could not create a goal scoring chance. Andy Denney's throw on 66mins found its way to Joe May and his shot went passed the diving Manor keeper into the net. 2-0 Enfield. Elvis Balic's shot on 71mins went over Manor's bar. Abul Hussain replaced Joe May on 77mins. Billy Healey shot wide of goal on 81mins. Shaun Clarke replaced Jerry Nkrumah on 85mins. Lee Benmore then set up a couple of chances for the E's attack, the second found Billy Healey's head but he put it over the bar. The game was almost over when Manor won a free kick, from this Daniel Mbaky made a great save in the E's goal.

New signing Alfie Kamara made his full debut and former E's favourite Lee Protheroe made his 2nd start after playing his 1st against Hullbridge on wednesday night in the 1-1 draw, Adilson Lopes scoring after 20 mins for the E's. With 3mins on the clock Billy Healey tested former E's keeper Paul Daley, but he was equal to the shot. A Wes Borghys throw gave Healey another shooting chance but this was cleared. A min later Borghys pass to Lopes was put over the bar. A free kick to Enfield was easily cleared by the Eton defence on 12mins. Andy Denney was fouled a min later, but the resulting free kick from Wes Borghys was again cleared. With 15mins gone a long ball out of defence by Protheroe found Lopes, who put Healey away into the Eton penalty area, he was then fouled. Wes Borghys kick was saved by Daley, Healey scored from the rebound, but the goal was ruled out, the referee said Healey had entered the area before the kick was taken. Healey made amends 2mins later after receiving the ball outside the area, he ran into the box and put the ball into the net wide of Daley. Eton 0-1 Enfield on 18mins. Lee Protheroe's free kick on 21mins went over the Eton cross bar and a min later Benmore's cross met Healey's but he put it wide. Enfield continued to press and Benmore 2mins later just failed to find an E's attacker. Lopes cross was cleared on 28 mins and then Benmore's cross was put out for a corner. Borghys cross was cleared out to Protheroe who passed back to Borghys his cross was flicked on by Lopes, but Daley was quick to gather the ball. Lopes was fouled outside the area on 30mins, Protheroe's free kick went out for a goal kick. Eton Manor had a cross headed wide on 35mins and 3mins later Daniel Mbaky put a Manor shot out for a corner, from this Mbaky put the ball onto the E's bar and over for another Manor corner. A min later Manor got a free kick just outside the E's box, it was cleared by the E's defence. On 43mins a Healey shot was cleared, Lopes headed it back and a Manor defender headed it clear. Bonwick was penalised for a high boot just outside the box, but the Manor's kick was cleared. Half time Eton Manor 0-1 Enfield. The 2nd half started like the 1st, with Enfield on the attack. Lee Protheroe's long ball put Billy Healey away, but Eton Manor cleared the danger. On 47mins Healey run into the box, beat his defender turned but shot wide of Daley's goal. Benmore and Healey combined to create a couple of half chances. A Wes Borghys throw in on 58 mins to Lopes was delivered into Healey who turned and put the ball passed Daley for his 2nd goal of the game. Eton 0-2 Enfield. 2mins later Enfield were awarded a free kick for a foul on Wes Borghys. Lee Protheroe's kick just went wide of Eton Manor's goal. Benmore was upended while in full flight down the wing, Protheroe's kick was put out for a corner. The resulting corner by Protheroe was easily cleared by Manor's defence. Lopes was fouled on 65mins, Protheroe's cross was met by Borghys and Daley easily collected. Eton Manor had a chance on 67mins, but Mbaky saved in the E's goal. A min later Borghys fed Protheroe, but his shot was blocked by Manor's defenders. Healey's good run and pass to Borghys was sent to Hussain, but his shot was saved by Daley. Eton Manor's defence kept out a couple of Protheroe corners on 80mins, then from a Borghys throw, Lopes flicked it on to Healey, but Daley saved his shot. Enfield continued to carve out chances, but could not convert them. Borghys had a couple of shots saved in injury time by Daley. Full time Eton Manor 0-2 Enfield

Adilson Lopes replaced the injured Guy Bonwick in central defence and Paul Oshin was still not ready to return to the side yet. Chris Green is hoping to be ready for a return after Xmas.There were not too many chances for either side in the opening minutes. Jerry Nkurmah's pass on 10mins to Lee Benmore was crossed into the Barking area, but nobody got on the end of it. Benmore did the same soon after, but Barking easily cleared their lines. Nkrurmah's drive into the area, forced Barking to concede a corner. Joe May drove the ball into the area, it was partially cleared, Healey knocked it in again, but it was cleared out to Borghys whose shot was saved by the keeper. Billy Healey's run down the wing and cross into the area was put out for another corner on 14mins. May's corner was then met by Nkrumah, his header was well saved. A min later Healey had another chance, but Barking's defence only cleared the ball to Jerry Nkrumah, but his shot was saved. Barking then had a chance Mbaky cleared the ball, but it came back towards his goal, Wes Borghys cleared, but sustained a cut to his head and had to go off and change his bloody shirt. Freddy Tandon's cross on 21mins was saved by the Barking keeper. One min later Benmore was fouled after a good move down the wing, Healey's free kick was headed just wide by Nkrumah. Billy Healey's run towards goal on 28mins was halted by a Barking defender and put out for a throw in. 2mins later a goal kick was picked up by Healey, whose pass to Jerry Nkrumah resulted in him shooting wide of goal. Barking then attacked the E's goal, Mbaky got his hand to the cross, but could only keep hold of the ball at the second attempt. Elvis Balic had a shot at goal on 32mins, this was cleared and a min later Benmore's pass to Balic was then sent on to Healey, but his shot was saved by the keeper. Nkrumah's late tackle got a final warning from Ref Mr Wood on 36mins. Barking's free kick was headed towards Mbaky's goal, but he made a good save. May's corner on 42mins was well held at the near post by the keeper. Barking then tried to lop Mbaky, but he got his hands to it. Just before half time, Healey's run beat several players and his cross was met by Benmore, whose shot was deflected for a corner. Enfield should have converted the corner into a goal, but all missed it. Half time 0-0  Enfield had the first chance of the 2nd half, but Freddy Tandon's cross went out for a goal kick. Barking's attack on the E's goal on 47mins, was broken up and Tandon's run and cross was cleared by Barking. 4mins later a Barking cross went in the E's area, was partially cleared only for it to come back in again and finally the Es's defence banged the ball back up field. Not long after this Enfield conceded a corner, this was sent to a Barking player, whose shot went just wide of goal. Neil Hughes was introduced for Jerry Nkrumah on 53mins. 2mins later Benmore cross was deflected for a corner, from this the ball was cleared to him, but his cross went over the goal. Barking's shot from a corner was only parried by Mbaky, but some how the E's defence managed to clear the ball. A bad tackle on Benmore after 60mins, had the E's players in uproar, surrounding the player, but Mr Wood only gave a free kick, no booking. Neil Hughes made a good run, beating a couple of players, but Healey was given offside when he received the ball, not to far from the Barking goal. A min later Hughes did the same, but again it was given offside. Hughes was beginning to make his mark on the game now and his pass to set up Benmore was cleared before he had time to shoot. On 69mins Wes Borghys sent Hughes away and his run towards goal had the Barking defence on the retreat and they put the ball out for a corner. Joe May's corner came out to Healey, whose shot on the turn went wide of goal. Mbaky had to be alert a min later to hold a Barking cross. Billy Healey headed on a cross to Hughes, his shot was cleared, then Elvis Balic hit the cross bar with a header and from the rebound his shot hit the post. A min later Joe May's shot came crashing back of the cross bar. It seemed the ball would just not go into the net. With 76mins gone Billy Healey, who had worked really hard, was replaced by Emmanuel Williams. Andy Denney's cross a min later was cleared by the Barking defence. Enfield tried to produce a goal and kept making chances, but to no avail. Benmore shot over the bar after 80mins and his run and one two with Hughes a min later saw him just go to far and the ball went out of play. Wes Borghys made a great tackle to break up a promising Barking attack on 83mins. Geoff Ocran replaced Lee Benmore after 87mins and straight away he was in to attacking mode. Williams had a couple of half chances, but Barking defence was holding on and E's just could not find the net for the second week in a row. Full time 0-0

Wes Borghys was captain again, as Paul Oshin's injury kept him on the sidelines for another week. Billy Healey made his first start, after coming on as a sub last week, Jerry Nkrumah was back from suspension and Geoff Ocran replaced the unavailable Adilson Lopes. The game started on a slipper pitch, with the dark clouds looming overhead. Lee Benmore's pass to Jerry Nkrumah after 6mins was directed straight to Takeley's keeper. 3 mins later Benmore set up Ocran, but his shot was deflected out for a corner. Benmore's corner came out to Hussain who shot wide of goal. A minute later Lee Benmore picked up a loose ball, ran towards the goal, but over hit his shot and it went out for a goal kick. Enfield continued to press forward in search of a goal and on 12mins Ocran found Healey who sent the ball into Takeley's penalty box, but it was cleared out for a throw in. From this Enfield got a corner, which was whipped in, but Takeley's defence cleared the danger. Nkrumah had a good-looking chance on goal, but was penalised for a foul on a defender. Enfield continued to create chances, but no avail. Good work from Ocran on 23mins; led to his final pass to Hussain being over hit and went out for a goal kick. Denney had 2 corners in succession, both did not produce a goal. On 26mins good movement from midfield to attack looked promising, but Takeley's defence broke this up. 2mins later Healey was fouled after a good run towards goal. Tanndon's kick was well saved by the keeper. After 30mins Tandon cleared a ball out of defence to Benmore who set up Ocran. A defender challenged him; the linesman flagged for a foul as the ball rolled into touch, but the referee over ruled him and gave a goal kick. 2mins later Billy Healey set up Benmore, but his shot was saved. Takeley's corner on 34 mins was headed clear by Wes Borghys, but it came back towards Mbaky's goal and Denney was on hand to head the ball out of the goalmouth. 3mins later Healey was put through on goal, but his shot went across the face of the goal. The E's had a free kick awarded on 42mins, it went out for a corner, Benmore took it and Healey headed just wide of goal. Balic then set up Benmore, but his shot went wide of goal. With half time approaching, Balic's pass was put into touch, from Denney's throw Benmore shot towards goal, but it went wide and out for goal kick. Half time 0-0  Takeley started the stronger in the 2nd half, twice Mbaky had to be earlert in the Enfield goal as their attackers forced him into action, early on. E's first chance of the half came after 51mins, Ocran shooting wide of the goal. A min later he tried again, this time forcing the keeper to save. On 55mins Borghys received the ball back from his throw in, but his cross went over the goal. A min later Benmore laid to ball off to Denney, but the keeper got to his cross first. Takeley's keeper was equal a strike by Guy Bonwick, after 60mins. Bonwick was in the thick of it again a min later, when he broke up a Takeley attack and laid the ball to Benmore, who was then fouled. Freddy Tandon took the free kick, but put it over the bar. Tandon was then in the action again, Borghys kick was headed on to Tandon, but his cross went behind the goal. Bonwick was on hand to block a Takeley attack on 68mins. Takeley were awarded a free kick a min later, it hit the E's cross bar and went over the bar. Not long after this Takeley had another shot, which went wide of Mbaky's goal. Takeley's keeper sliced a clearance out for a corner, after 79mins, from the corner Benmore's shot was well saved by the keeper. Lee Benmore was replaced by Emmanuel Williams after 82mins and his cross 2mins later was met by Ocran, but his shot went over the bar. With time running out Takeley had a couple of chances to score, a shot went over the E's bar on 87mins and Mbaky made a save soon after. Enfield started this match without captain Paul Oshin and the suspended Jerry Nkrumah. Edwards made his 1st start for Enfield, after coming on as a sub in the last 2 games and new boy Billy Healey was on the bench. Wes Borghys was captain. After only 3mins Emmanuel Williams shot was well held by the Clapton keeper. 3mis later Balic headed wide from a Lee Allen corner and on 12mins another Lee Allen's corner was headed over the cross bar by Freddy Tandon. After 14mins Elvis Balic teed up a shot which went over the cross bar and then 2mins later Lee Benmore had shot which was cleared back to him and he fired it back towards goal, but it was deflected for a corner. On 18mins Enfield had a free kick just outside the Clapton penalty area, Edwards's cross into the box just eluded Emmanuel Williams. Enfield were now creating chances, but could not finish them. Lopes shot wide of the goal on 25mins, 2mins later Benmore's (who was having another good game on the right) cross-found Lopes but his header was saved by Joe Wright in the Clapton goal. A minute later Clapton hit back, their attackers hit the cross bar and from the rebound Daniel Mbaky in the E's goal blocked the shot and it went out for a corner. From the corner Clapton thought they had found the net, but Bonwick cleared the chance off the line. Enfield then had a several chances, Benmore and Williams both had shots saved. Lee Allen's corner on 31mins was heading for the near post, but Joe Wright saved and 2mins later another corner was collected by Wright. Lee Allen beat 2 Clapton players and unleashed a shot that went just wide of the goal on 40mins. Lee Benmore was next to try his luck on goal, his shot just outside the box on 41mins was just wide, a minute later he tried again from a corner but to no avail, then a minute later he shot over the bar. Half time Enfield 0-0 Clapton. The half time team talk from manger Lucas and his assistant Leslie had an immediate effect. With 48mins on the clock, an Edwards cross-found the busy Benmore whose shot hit the back of the net. 1-0 Enfield. Lee Benmore had another shot at goal 2mins later, a defender blocked this. Clapton had a chance after 53mins, but Mbaky came off his line to save on the edge of the box. New boy Billy Healey replaced Emmanuel Williams after 55mins. 2mins later from a foul on Lopes, Allen's free kick went to Benmore who crossed into the box, but Clapton's defenders cleared the danger. Healey had a shot at goal on 58mins, but the keeper saved it. 2mins later Lopes passed to Healey who tried his luck at goal again, but the keeper kept it out, but it was chipped back across goal and cleared. Enfield's pressure finally paid of after 62mins when a Tandon cross into the Clapton box was easily turned in by Adilson Lopes. 2-0 Enfield. Edwards had a shot blocked, from a Benmore cross on 67mins. 2mins later Geoff Ocran came on for the busy Edwards. Enfield continued to carve out chances Benmore and Healey both went close and it was the lively Benmore that gave Ocran a chance on 85mins but his shot went just over the bar. A minute later Lopes supplied Benmore, but his shot was wide. At the other end Mbaky got down low to save a Clapton chance on 88mins. During the 5mins of injury time that was played, a Ocran cross just failed to find Healey, a Benmore cross was just wide, Ocran's shot was saved from a corner and in the last minute Balic shot just over the bar. Emmanuel Williams made his debut for Enfield. Stansted had the first chance after 3mins, from a corner a header was saved by E's keeper Daniel Mbaky. After 5mins Williams set up Oshin, who shot wide of Stansted's goal. Enfield continued to attack and a Balic shot went wide of the goal with 11mins on the clock. Enfield won a freekick after 13mins, just outside the penalty box. Freddy Tandon's kick went straight into the left-hand corner of the net. 0-1 E's. Lee Benmore was giving Stansted a torrid time down the right hand flank and his cross into the penalty box was cleared by Stansted's defenders on 22mins. 3mins later May pass out to Benmore on the right was crossed into the box, a Stansted defender diverted into his net. 0-2 E's  Lee Benmore crossed the ball into the box after 28mins, this time the keeper got to it first. 3mins later the May/ Benmore combination, resulted in Benmore's shot being blocked by some desperate defending. Elvis Balic tried his luck after Lopes set him up on 40mins, but his shot went wide. A minute before half time a Stansted cross was put out from a corner by Mbaky, from the corner Mbaky saved the goal bound header. Half time Stansted 0-2 Enfield  3mins after the restart Mbaky fouled a Stansted attacker in the area. Stansted pulled a goal back from the resulting penalty. 1-2 E's  Paul Oshin was replace by Hussain after 51mins. 3mins later Stansted equalised, the ball went over Mbaky into the net. Enfield where back in front 7mins later, right back Denney's throw in came back to him, his cross was diverted into Stansted's net by Williams scoring on his debut. 2-3 E's 2mins later E's had a 2 goal cushion again. Lee Benmore shook off several defenders and set up Lopes to score. 2-4 E's On 65mins Benmore had a shot blocked after May's corner was sent into the area.  At the other end Mbaky made a great save a minute later to deny the Stansted attack. After 68mins a foul on Balic, resulted in a Wes Borghys freekick being well saved by the keeper. 2mins later a Stansted cross was diverted into the E's net by an attacker. 3-4 E's Benmore was replaced by Edwards on 75mins. Williams had a run at goal beating 2 defenders on the way, but his shot was well saved by the keeper. May was replaced by Ocran for the last few minutes. With 2mins of normal time remaining Enfield finally killed the game off, when Lopes scored his 2nd goal of the game, from a cross.

Enfield started this game with almost a full strenght squad. Enfield got staight into attacking mode and it paid of after just 3 minutes Neil Hughes slotting home Steven Ahoua Boua's cross into the back of Sawbridgeworth's net, 1-0 Enfield. Enfield continued to play some good passing football and create plenty of chances, keeping Sawbridgeworth's defence busy. After 21 minutes Neil Hughes challengened for the ball, but the keeper appeared the catch Neil with his boot, as he attempted to make the clearance. The referee blew for a foul on Neil, booked their keeper and awarded Enfield a penalty. Steven Ahoua Boua stepped up and placed the ball to one side of the keeper, but he managed to parry it, but Steven scored from the rebound, 2-0 Enfield. Not long after this Steven Ahoua Boua headed Lee Benmore's cross into the net, but it was ruled offside by the linesman. Enfield continued to press Sawbridgeworth and create chances, but had to wait until the 71 minute to make the game safe, Steven Ahoua Boua getting his second goal to round of a great Enfield performance.

As if we didn't have enough problems Marcel Jones ,Neil Hughes ,Anthony Cahill, Sammy Winston ,Brad Nelson ,Chris Parillon,Steven Ahoua-Boua  were also missing from the squad . Manager Kevin Lucas also missed this match due to family business .On the plus side   Andy Purcell made his first start .
 
Well where do I start with this one ?...... The early warning signs were apparent in the opening minutes as Kadir Jama fires across Steve Wrights goalmouth on 6mins. On 11 mins   Leon Ryan's cross is headed wide by Daniel Sabaroche . And E's problems worsened as Lee Allen pulls up and Paul Smith replaces him on 16mins.  A half chance for E's on 19mins as Lee Benmore's cross almost finds Elvis Balic but he is crowded out of getting his shot away . A chance for BGU as Kadir Jama tries his luck but its straight at Steve Wright 20mins.  Referee Mr Harvey books Jerry Nkrumah for not retreating 10yards at a freekick. The opening goal came as E's very shaky defence cracked as Joel Gallimore's freekick comes off a cluster of players jumping for the ball and Daniel Sabaroche with all the time in the world  has a simple header to put BGU 1-0 up .  A shot from BGU's Marlon Campbell is wide 35mins. A chance for E's as Lee Benmore wastes a freekick by blazing over Ashley King's crossbar 38mins .  Leon Ryan tee's up Marlon Campbell for BGU but he is wide with his shot . A great chance for E's to draw level with Lee Benmore's ball putting Abul Hussain clear but his attempted lob of BGU's keeper Ashley King has nowhere near enough height and is saved 40mins. Marlon Campbell is put through but he is forced wide and loses control 47mins.  Lee Benmore sets up Jerry Nkrumah but his shot hardly troubles Ashley King 49mins.  BGU went furthur ahead on 53mins with non existant defending as Marlon Boatang gets the better of Paul Smith on the touchline  and his cross see's Steve Wright and Carl Robinson hesitating and Kadir Jama got between them and blasted home to make it 2-0 to the visitors . Another major squad reshuffling headache for Manager Kevin Lucas as E's had to do without the services of  the unavailable Elvis Balic, Marcel Jones , Paul Oshin ,Jerry Nkrumah ,Neil Hughes as well as Brad Nelson, Antrhony Cahill  Chris Parillon and Guy Bonwick . Still no Chris Green or Kieron Woodward who have long term Injuries .  Aaron Cato and Graeme Butler did however make their first starts  .Steve Wright returned in goal. Lee Allen made his home debut.
 
Southend Manor must have fancied their chances today  but E's had the opening opportunity with Steven Ahoua-Boua setting up Lee Allen but his shot is narrowly wide of Adam Seal's goal 3mins . A good chance for Southend on 7mins as Wilf Misiska takes advantage of a careless ball and despite getting a clear shye at E's goal he lifts his shot over Steve Wright's crossbar  7mins. A chance for E's as Abul Hussain's shot is blocked by Chris Baker 9mins. A misunderstanding in the E's back four allowed Wilf Misiska another chance but again he fires over the top 11 mins. With E's Jinxed defence now missing Guy Bonwick as well as Chris Green and Kieron Woodward,  Manager Kevin Lucas was forced to use Adilson Lopes as a makeshift defender .
 
Both sides had corners in the opening moments which came to nothing . And the first clear opening fell to  clarets Antonio Murray but he scuffed a tame shot straight at Dan Mbaky on 9mins. Danny Hockton's attempt at Lobbing Dan Mbaky almost paid off but Wes Borghys was on hand to divert the ball wide 10mins. Antonio Murray then sets up Anthony Cook but he fires wildly over the E's crossbar 17mins. A 30 yarder from Clarets John Martin flies over E's crossbar  on 20mins. A great chance for E's as Jerry Nkrumah splits Clarets rearguard to put Steven Ahoua-Boua away but Clarets  keeper Craig Holloway spreads himself well to save 21mins. E's took the lead a minute later with their first attack with good work by Geoff Ocran being helped on by Jerry Nkrumah and Brad Nelson cooly picked his spot in slotting past Eton Manor's keeper Michael Wakefield . It was almost two for E's moments later as Brad Nelson sets up Jerry Nkrumah but Michael Wakefield does well to save at close range 8mins.  Eton Manor then started to put some moves together of their own and a freekick on 14mins by Joe May almost found Neil Barrett at the far post but but he just missed his header .Paul Oshin is booked for dissent 15mins.  Brad Nelson gets Jerry Nkrumah away but Carl Bailey does well to disposess the E's striker as he is about to let fly 21mins.

E's should have been ahead as early as the 2nd minute as Wes Borghys cross is met by Guy Bonwick whose header hits the Inside of James Hussey's post and is clawed back from behind the line ,but Incredibly Referee Mr Richardson waved play on ???  With their composure regained E's had another good chance on 6 mins with Neil Hughes winning the ball and his shot is saved by James Hussey.  Marcel Jones corner is headed wide by Paul Oshin on 7mins.  Dan Mbaky does well to deal with a good dipping  cross from Jonathan Nicholls on 11 mins.  A shot from 30yards from Anthony Cahill flies wide of the Witham goal 14mins. (E's double sub Elvis Balic and Sam Winston replace Brad Nelson and Jerry Nkrumah 53mins)  Halstead were almost caught out with Elvis Balic supplying Sam Winston but Ed Woolen was alert enough to rush out to claim the ball 54mins.  E's drew level on 57 mins with a freekick about 25 yards out  and Wesley Borghys curled a beauty into Ed Woolen's bottom corner 2-2 . Halstead almost regained the lead moments later with Eldem Artun's cross being met by Ray Turner but somehow he manages to scoop it over Steve Wrights crossbar 60mins. But  within seconds of the restart Southend were level  Daniel Stanley's freekick was whipped over to the far side of the box and Andrew Merry  ran in unopposed to head over the stranded Steve Wright to make it 1-1  . It took just 38 seconds for the deadlock to be broken with E's forcing a corner straight from the kick off , Marcel Jones floated the ball acoss and Wesley Borghys thundered in unchallenged  to head past Scott Bates to put E's 1-0 up.  Steven Ahoua-Boua was next to breach Crawley Green's defence but Scott Bates anticipated  well to rush out to deny the E's striker his chance. Crawley Green created a chance on 10mins with James Dickson's freekick falling to Tom Freeman but he blazed a good opportunity over Steve Wright's crossbar .  E's went furthur ahead on 14 mins as Steven Ahoua-Boua slips a ball through to Jerry Nkrumah who timed his run to perfection rounded Scott Bates and rolled the ball home past a wrong footed defender on the line to put E's 2-0 up .  Another chance appeared for Crawley Green as Tom Freeman cleverly swivelled his way into shooting range but he sliced his shot wide 16mins. A good run by Steven Ahoua-Boua presented himself with a good opportunity but a fine well timed tackle by Connor Waite denied him  20mins. Marcel Jones puts over another tantilising corner and Wes Borghys again met it with a powerful header but Peter O'Donnell was on hand to hoof the ball off the line 21mins. But E's didn't have to wait long to Increase their lead on 23 mins with good build up play Involving Marcel Jones ,Geoff Ocran, Adilson Lopes and Lee Benmore who supplied  a ball to Steven Ahoua-Boua to volley past Scott Bates 3-0 E's.  Kieron Woodward splits open Crawley Green with a ball into Jerry Nkrumah's path but Referee Mr Stanley bizarrely blew up for a foul on Kieron as Jerry was in a 1 on 1 with Scott Bates ??? . A good cross from Marcel Jones finds Steven Ahoua-Boua but he heads a whisker over Scott Bates crossbar 30mins. Steven Ahoua-Boua again gets a shot away but Scott Bates does well to push it away 33mins. Marcel Jones corner finds Guy Bonwick at the far post but he heads narrowly wide 35mins. Scott Bates again pulls off a good save ,this time denying Lee Benmore 39mins. Marcel Jones corner is met by Wes Borghys but its deflected wide 41mins.  E's could have made the half time score more emphatic as Jerry Nkrumah slips a good ball into Lee Benmore but he is taken down by Peter O'Donnell and Referee Mr Stanley gave the penalty . With Peter O'Donnell booked Kieron Woodward stepped forward but amazingly he spooned it over Scott Bates crossbar by some distance !!! 2nd Half...... Marcel Jones cross finds Jerry Nkrumah who attemps an overhead kick but its straight at Scott Bates . A chance for Crawley Green as James Pottier's freekick is headed over E's crossbar by Tom Freeman 52mins.  E's scored again on 53mins with Geoff Ocran crossing for Steven Ahoua-Boua who laid it on a plate for Marcel Jones to easily prod the ball home 4-0 E's. Geoff Ocran tee's up Steven Ahoua-Boua but Phil Turner makes a timely block to deny him 55mins. Lee Benmore crosses for Steven Ahoua-Boua but a good save from Scott Bates kept it out 56mins. Marcel Jones cross again finds Steven Ahoua-Boua but again Scott Bates keeps it out 57mins (E's triple subs Elvis Balic ,Neil Hughes and Brad Nelson replace Steven Ahoua-Boua, Adilson Lopes and Jerry Nkrumah and for Crawley Green Josh Nash and Tom Maloney replace James Pottier and Peter O'Donnell 59mins) Shots by Lee Benmore and Kieron Woodward are both saved in quick succession by Scott Bates 60mins. Brad Nelson's ball to Geoff Ocran on 66mins split Grawley Green open again and his ball into Paul Oshin hits a defender and Neil Hughes  turns to fire into the bottom corner 5-0 E's . Marcel Jones run and shot ends with another save from Scott Bates 68mins. (Crawley Green sub Eamon Cusack on for Lee Hayward)   Marcel Jones again beats his man on 70mins  to deliver a cross which lands amongst a cluster of defenders but Brad Nelson stretches out a leg and diverts it past Scott Bates 6-0 E's Marcel Jones again torments Crawley Green with another precise cross and Brad Nelson somehow manages to scoop a point blank opportunity over the bar 72mins.  Brad Nelson bursts through a demoralised defence  but Scott Bates does well to block his shot 76mins.  A good try by Crawley Green's Eamon Cusack goes wide 78mins. Eamon Cusack crosses and finds Connor Waite but his shot is saved by Steve Wright 80mins.It wasnt long before E's scored again  on 86mins with good work by Neil Hughes putting Geoff Ocran clear and he lobbed over the advancing Scott Bates 7-0 E's . A good try by Connor Waite went over Steve Wrights crossbar 87mins. Kieron Woodward puts in Paul Oshin but Scott Bates again does well to keep the score down 88mins. E's manager Kevin Lucas rested 10 members of the first team squad  to give our fringe players a chance to Impress. Wayne Grant made his return and Ex Harlow Town striker Sammy Winston made his first start.
 
As E's learned from last seasons encounters that  APSA are nobody's fools these days  and It was APSA who started much the stronger  with  Dada Feimi's corner falling to Steve McCullage whose shot was blocked on 6 mins . Another corner from Dada Feimi on 8 mins again finds Steve McCullage and his sliced shot was headed goalbound by Ben Dixon but E's keeper  Daniel Mbaky did well to save low to his left . A shot by APSA's  Simpson Mpalampa goes wide on 10mins. Dada Feimi sends over another corner and this time Isaac Buttier-Aubynn blasts wide 17mins. A cross from Dada Feimi finds Ben Dixon but the APSA No8 skies it well over the top  29mins.  A slip by Chris Parillon could have caused E's defence a problem but Carl Robinson did well to clear E's lines 33mins.  A shot from range from Dada Feimi is easily taken by Daniel Mbaky 41mins.  An ambitious  40 yard lob from  APSA's Jamie Langton looked to be causing Daniel Mbaky a problem but he was equal and alert enough to  claim the ball above his head 42mins.  A chance for E's as Lawrence Jones freekick is glanced wide by Wayne Grant 43mins .A freekick from APSA's Benjamin Gabor is blasted over E's crossbar  in the 5mins of stoppage  stoppage time H/T

APSA  took the lead on 47mins with a deep  cross from Benjamin Gabor finding Jamie Langton who slipped in at the far side and crashed a  high shot  past Daniel Mbaky to put the visitors ahead .A shot from APSA's Gregory Akpele flies over E's crossbar on 51mins .  A chance for E's as Abul Hussain's corner is headed wide by Wayne Grant 53mins.  Sammy Winston slips in a good ball into Neil Hughes path but Dan Higley did well to grab the ball at the E's strikers feet 55mins. Wayne Grant sets up a chance for Sammy Winston but he is wide 57mins.  Good work by Neil Hughes and Marlon Borland fires  a poor  clearance over the bar 58mins.  Carl Robinson pumps a ball forward and Neil Hughes takes it in his stride but he puts it just wide 63mins.  Wayne Grant does well to beat his man and cross for Elvis Balic but his shot is a whisker wide 66mins.  A shot from APSA's Jamie Langton is easily taken by Daniel Mbaky 70mins. Another APSA raid come's Daniel Mbaky's way and this time he saves from Isaac Buttier-Aubynn 72mins. A shot by Dada Feimi is wildly over the E's crossbar 73mins. Carl Robinson sends in a freekick and Sammy Winston's header is deflected just over Dan Higley's crossbar 74 mins.  A brilliantly timed  tackle from Hawker Kider  denies Gregory Akpele from getting a shot at Daniel Mbaky's goal on 77mins. Another good save by Daniel Mbaky denies  Gregory Akpele 84mins.  A Wayne Grant freekick is over Dan Higley's crossbar 90mins. Due to APSA's  timewasting shenanigans Referee Mr Roguez starts 14 mins of added time . With Apsa packing their defence E's were finding it tough to carve out any chances but APSA almost caught E's with a break in the 99th min with Stuart Houghton crossing for Dada Feimi but somehow he tamely scuffed his shot wide from six yards . A chance appears for Marlon Borland to level matters up when he meets a cross at the back post but Dan Higley somehow managed to push it away one handed . Kieron Woodward did well to clear a dangerous cross in the opening moments . Another chance for Burnham arrived on 6 mins with Chris Lewis's throw in finding Ross Adams whose shot went wide. E's first chance arrived on 10 mins with Paul Oshin heading Kieran Woodward's corner inches wide . Kieron Woodward again causes a problem with a corner but Marlon Borland blazes a clearence over the top 12 mins. A chance for Burnham as Chris Lewis weaves his way through  but a good block from Wes Borghys denies him 14mins. A good try from Rob Tungett from 25 yards is Inches over Rob Small's crossbar 15mins. A contenscious freekick given against Wes Borghys for handball presented a chance to Burnham's Keith Wilson but he was narrowly off target 24mins.  A skirmish betwwen Adilson Lopes and Burnham's Daniel Gallaway saw them both go into Mr Pavitt's notebook 28mins. Ross Adams soon followed suit as he was booked for chopping down Lee Benmore 30mins. Lee Benmore puts over a fine cross but Paul Oshin's header is blocked 33mins. Guy Bonwick does well to Intercept a dangerous cross on 42mins . Geoff Ocran's cross is deflected just wide of Rob Small's post 43mins. A thunderous shot by Adilson Lopes is pushed wide by Rob Small 51mins.(E's sub Marcel Jones on for Marlon Borland 54mins) Kieran Woodward works his way into shooting range but is wide 55mins. Burnham go ahead on 61mins with Keith Wilson's corner being met by Ross Adams with Paul Carr steeing it home 1-0 Burnham . A let off for E's on 66 mins as Paul Carr lobs over Steve Wright but Guy Bonwick manages to spot the danger and clear up . A chance for E's as Marcel Jones and Rob Tungett both have shots charged down from good work from Lee Benmore 71mins .James Clarke is booked for not retreating 10yards for an E's freekick 72mins. A quiet start with both sides forcing early corners but no significant chances at either end but on 10 mins Wes Borghys ball to Neil Hughes  into the Broxbourne box caused confusion and Jerry Nkrumah found space but prodded a good chance wide of Obey Murefu's left hand post . Good work from Marcel Jones opened up Broxbourne's rearguard again and Guy Bonwick just failed to get a clean strike and the ball was pushed wide 14mins. Geoff Ocran was next to make Inroads into Broxbourne territory and another good oportunity fell to Jerry Nkrumah but he tamely scuffed his shot wide 15mins. Marcel Jones run almost made another opening but a last ditch tackle from Broxbourne's Danny Swift cut out this chance for E's 25mins. Good work by Paul Oshin tee'd up Adilson Lopes but his shot was a whisker over Obey Murefu's crossbar 31mins. A good block from Kieron Woodward denies Nicky Marsh from getting a shot away 34mins.  The deadlock was broken on 35mins with Jerry Nkrumah taking advantage of Bradley Poole's hesitation by robbing him of the ball and his run took him around Obey Murufu to roll the ball home 1-0 E's .  It got much better for E's with their next attack on 38mins with Geoff Ocran beating his man out on the touchline  to fire in an Inch perfect cross which Jerry Nkrumah lashed past Obey Murufu 2-0 E's .  A chance for shellshocked Broxbourne as John Osborn's freekick finds Tony Burke but his shot is deflected over the bar 40mins. With Enfield looking in total control Broxborne pulled one back in stoppage time . A harsh looking freekick awarded against Guy Bonwick out on the touchline was taken by John Osborn and he curled a screamer into Steve Wright's top corner and Broxbourne were back in the match . 2nd half ......... (Broxbourne sub Lee Mitchell on for John Osborn) Broxbourne were much more assertive from the restart but Neil Hughes weaved his way through  which gave him the chance to restore E's two goal cushion but Obey Murufu did well to save his close range effort 47mins.Guy Bonwick is booked for a foul 48mins , A good chance for Broxbourne as a freekick finds Matt Watts head  but Steve Wright was equal to it 51mins.  A skirmish breaks out as Paul Oshin is late with a challenge and after some pushing and shoving Paul Oshin and Matt Mitchell and Lee Mitchell of Broxbourne were all yellow carded 55mins. Matt Mitchell's freekick is saved by Steve Wright 56mins. Marcel Jones is  booked for delaying a freekick 67mins. A 25yarder from Broxbourne's Rob Kemble is Inches over Steve Wright's crossbar 71mins. (E's sub Steven Ahoua-Boua on for Neil Hughes 72mins and for Broxbourne Rob Tungatt on for Bradley Poole 73mins)  A great chance for Broxbourne as a deep cross is volleyed Inches over the E's crossbar by Danny Bradford from six yards  74mins.Lee Benmore does well to Intercept a good run by Nicky Marsh 76mins . A good try by Rob Tungatt for Broxbourne goes wide 78mins . (E's sub Abul Hussein on for Marcel Jones and for Broxbourne Jake Donovan on for Matt Mitchell 80mins)  With Broxbourne desperately trying to carve out an opening E's made the game safe with a counter raid  on 87mins  with Adilson Lopes sending over a cross for Abul Hussein who'se header looked to be an easy take for Obey Murufu but the Broxbourne keeper somehow allowed the ball to slip through his grasp and bobble into the net 3-1 E's . Steven Ahoua-Boua has a shye but his shot is saved 90min Paul Oshin fires a chance wide 92mins . and with almost the last kick Steven Ahoua-Boua plays a ball across Broxbourne's 18yard box and although Paul Oshin looked to have been forced wide he somehow managed to squeeze a shot across Oey Murufu into the far corner 4-1 E's   , Referee Mr Yahiaoui  ended the contest a minute later .
