I first met Santa in Yokohama when I was 10 months old, at the 1997 St Maur International School Christmas Bazaar. When I met him the following year, in Istanbul, he told me he supported Arsenal - I didn't realise he was joking! In 1999 I met him twice, once at the British Consulate's Christmas Party and again at Robert College's Christmas dinner.
