A stroll in the mountains 8000 feet above Palm Springs was a highlight of our trip there.

... and resisted the urge to enter the tackiest shop we have ever seen and purchase this statue that commemorates Jesus's moment of triumph in a giant pomegranate seed balancing contest, an event that was unaccountably omitted from the Gospels.
