CH Mapplewell Minstrel

Domino lost her fight against a brain tumor on the 29th December 2007.

Domino was the start of Mapplewell, she won her breed at crufts in 2001, became a champion in 2005, also sired our young boy Micky and our first homebred champion. The decision to let her go was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but she's at peace now, and very very sadly missed here at Mapplewell.

Domino we love you, miss you and will never forget you.

Many will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends leave pawprints in your heart.

We may not be together in the way we used to be,
      We are still connected by a cord no eye can see.
      So whenever you need to find me, we're never far apart
      If you look beyond the Rainbow and listen with your heart.

A lovely sound and honest bitch of good proportions. Attractively spotted b/w with deep pigment. Alert, kind expression with very good eye colour. Smooth clean lines from her neck into her withers, good shoulder angulation. Excellent forequarters and nice tight feet. Deep chest and adequate length of loin. Good tail set. Well defined rear quarters and good bend of stifle. Was presented in well toned condition. Her movement was positive with plenty of rear drive displaying power but maintaining her elegance. I had no hesitation in awarding her the CC. Together with my Co-Judge I was pleased to award her Best in Show.
