          All go with tails docked according to the AKC breed standard of excellence, and dewclaws removed.  (According to the standard, the dewclaws can be left natural or removed, so we have them removed to prevent the nail growing into the dog's leg if the new owner forgets to trim them as dews can be hard to see in the Cocker's long coat.)
          They all have been vaccinated and wormed, are accustomed to grooming, bathing and adults walking on lead.  All are well socialized and love children, adults, other dogs and other pets.
          Physical structure and soundness as well as personality, intelligence and understanding are evaluated at eight-weeks-of-age before leaving for their new homes.
          All are AKC registered and out of champion/flushing gundog/companion/performance bloodlines.  Purchase price is determined by individual quality and quality of parents and bloodlines, not by sex of the pup or color.
          All are guaranteed, in writing, against physical and temperamental defects.  All go with lifetime support from the Breeder (us).
          We breed to produce a pup to keep, love and show, ourselves, but also to provide others with a quality puppy with the best start in life and the best background.  They are wonderful family companions with the flushing gundog instinct so important to the breed.  Some are good candidates for performance such as obedience competition, agility, etc.  Show prospects are available on occasion although our goal is not the current fad of the show ring but to fit the true breed standard.  Coat texture, thickness and length are outstanding
          Background is where the pedigree comes in, if one knows what dogs looked and acted like, and what their accomplishmenst were at home, obedience, hunting, showing and breeding, and if they reproduced themselves well or even improved the quality, then one has a good idea of how the pups will turn out.  Most of the pups here go back to many well known dogs, including Ch. Hitop's Flash Dancer (buff), multi specialty winning Ch. Tamra's Top Gun (black and tan) and BIS/BISS Am./Can. Ch. Bleumoon's Master Of Illusions (brown).  Top producing brown Cocker in breed history and one of two top winning browns in breed history.
