HOW TO GET THERE
1. Caledonian MacBrayne:
Telephone: 0188 0730 253 (Kennacraig)
Operate regular daily sailings from Kennacraig which is situated on the Kintyre Peninsuala, approximately 10 miles south of Tarbert Loch Fyne to Port Askaig and Port Ellen. Sailing times are approximately 2 hours and 2hours 15 minutes respectively.
On arrival in Islay, proceed along the A846 road to Bridgend, and then on the A847 road signposted for Portnahaven to Bruichcladdich, and finally to Port Charlotte. On arriving in Port Charlotte, pass the Croft Kitchen on the left-hand side, cross the small bridge, and immediately past the Port Charlotte Hotel, veer left into Shore Street. At the foot of the short hill and on the right is no. 9.
The distance from Port Ellen and Port Askaig to Port Charlotte is approximately 20 miles and should take 30 minutes travelling time.
