was given my first Dalmatian, whilst living and working in America.
A very loyal dog, he soon showed me the wonderful attributes of the breed.
'Major' used to follow my horse faithfully and was quite as happy lying on my bed
as he was outside working alongside me, in all weathers.

On coming back to live in England, I wanted another Dalmatian
and then of course the addiction started!

My next dog 'Willow' introduced me to the world of showing
and whilst he was never going to be a winner,
he taught me so much, it was a joy to show him.

Currently, I have five Dalmatians at home. 
Not all of them show, but they all enrich our lives
and make us laugh every day.

In case you were wondering....
 
Our kennel affix ' JABBAWOCK' comes from one of my favourite childhood books:
'Through the Looking Glass' (sequel to 'Alice in Wonderland'), written by Lewis Carroll.
 
In the book is one of his wonderful nonsense poems, called The Jabbawocky.

After owning the breed for a few years,
I felt this title was appropriate as Dalmatians can be so silly and full of nonsense. 
That's what I love about them!
