For those of you who didn't know, we got married on the 6th June 2010.
In the company of 31 Dalmatians, including alot of Jabbawocks!!
Having waited 16 years for Phil to finally take me down the aisle,
it was a lovely spotty day for us both to remember!

2nd May 2011 - Marlborough Open Show
Another lovely day - Taylor won Best of Breed again!
Vanilla - Jabbawock Jet Propelled won 1st in Post Grad.
Katie won 1st in Adult Handling (under 35 yrs), which qualifies her for the UK Adult Handling finals in only her 2nd adult competition.
I was also fortunate to win the Adult Handling (over 35yrs)!
A lovely show shared with lots of our friends!
 
1st May 2011 - WELKS Ch Show
Just showed Taylor today, but was really delighted to win 1st in Limit dog.
(this is his 5th win in Limit)
 
9th April 2011 - Romsey Open Show
A good day for Jabbawocks!
Jabbawock son, Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot Best of Breed
Vanilla - Jabbawock Jet Propelled 2nd in Open (handled by Katie)
Charlie - Jabbawock Juxtapose was represented by his daughter Polly who won Best puppy in breed.
 
2nd/3rd April 2011 - BUBA Open show/Chippenham Open Show
Busy weekend showing for Taylor & Vanilla.
Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot won Reserve Best of Breed on Sunday.
Vanilla - Jabbwock Jet Propelled did really well this weekend, winining a 4th on Sat & a 3rd on Sunday. She didn't back off a judge all weekend and was back to her normal bold self, so we are really pleased and think we have finally got her over her 'scare'. She's taught me alot about how to re-train dogs who have had a fright in the ring. Clever girl Vanilla!
Our neice Katie South was in her first Adult Handling competition on Sunday and won! Well done Katie!
 
19th March 2011 - UK ADULT HANDLING FINALS
Back again to uphold my title from last year! I was so pleased to once again win my age group class and then onto winning Reserve Best Overall Adult Handler for 2011. So exciting! I handled Comfrey - Jabbawock The Ringleader ShCM who once again did a lovely job in the ring - good girl!!

CRUFTS today!
Although we didn't get placed, Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot showed really well in Limit dog.
Our neice Katie South was handling Comfrey in the YKC Handling finals as well and did a great job. Well done Katie!
It was so lovely to meet up with lots of friends. I also got to handle Taylor's sister Cookie.
 

5th March 2011

After a few months off, from showing, we went to Swindon Open show.

Vanilla - Jabbawock Jet Propelled won 1st in Post Graduate and I won 2nd in Adult Handling using Taylor.

11th December 2010 - LKA Champ Show

Lovely day at the NEC today.

Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot - 2nd in Limit Dog.

Cookie - Dalendale Dakota at Dalorno 2nd in puppy bitch ( both Taylor & Cookie are sired by Jabbawock The Sorcerer at Ribblehill)

Ruby - Jabbawock Ministry of Magic also attended her very first Champ show and Ruby and her mummy did a lovely job!

6th November 2010 - British Dalmatian Club Open Show

We had a fabulous day today!

Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot won open Dog, Reserve BEST dog & BEST Liver Dog

Comfrey - Jabbawock The Ringleader ShCM won Special junior veteran Bitch, Best veteran Bitch

& BEST VETERAN IN SHOW!

Vanilla - Jabbawock Jet Propelled won 3rd in Yearling Bitch - showing really well today

and Ruby - Jabbawock Ministry of Magic showed in Limit bitch, with her owner Cath Knight - both doing a great job of showing at their FIRST ever show! We are very proud of you both!!

10th October 2010 - news
Taylor's full younger brother Dalendale Sinaloa won Best puppy in Show at the North of England Dalmatian Club open show, which qualifies him for D.O.T.Y. 'Theo' is owned by Sharron Scott who bred our Taylor and both of these boys were sired by our home bred Jabbwock The Sorcerer at Ribblehill. What great results these two are both having, along with Lynda Longworth's 'Cookie' - Dalendale Dakota at Dalorno!
 
9th October 2010 - South Wales Ch Show
Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot, went really well today despite a tiny ring and won 2nd in limit dog.
 
25th-26th September 2010 - NIDC & Belfast Ch shows
We've had a lovely weekend away with Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot, camping near Lough Neagh, Antrim, Nr Belfast. Attending 2 shows, Taylor won 4th in limit dog on Saturday at the Northern Ireland Dalmatian Club Ch Show and at Belfast Dog show (Ch) he won 1st in Limit dog.
it has been a pleasure to have Taylor with us, he has been so well behaved and laid back about the whole trip. he mostly enjoyed getting to share the bed at night and proved to be a great hot water bottle!
 
17th September 2010 - Darlington Ch Show
Today Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot won 4th in Limit Dog
 
12th September 2010 - Richmond Ch show
Once again, Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot won 2nd in Limit dog! Today, our neice - Katie South handled
Comfrey - Jabbawock The Ringleader ShCM to win 1st in veteran bitch.
Katie also did us extremely proud in the Junior handling finals, putting up a faultless performance.
Well done Katie!!

5th September 2010 - City of Birmingham Ch Show 
Today Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot won 2nd in Limit dog out of a very good entry.
I was also lucky enough to be allowd to handle his younger sister Cookie - Dalendale Dakota at Dalorno,
winning 2nd in minor puppy bitch and 5th in puppy bitch. Cookie is owned by Lynda Longworth. Both Taylor and Cookie are sired by Wiglett - Jabbawock the Sorcerer at Ribblehill.
 

29th August 2010 - Scottish Kennel Club Ch show
Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot and I travelled up to Scotland this weekend and Taylor won 2nd in limit dog.
 
15th August 2010 - Bournemouth Championship show
Bungle - Jabbawock Jailhouse Rock won 2nd in Novice dog
Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot won 2nd in Limit dog (although he bounced his way round the ring! - back to training!)
Vanilla - Jabbawock Jet Propelled was great in the ring - no nerves at all - however completly forgot how to stand! lol!
Comfrey - Jabbawock The Ringleader ShCM showed well in the breed with me,
then helped our neice Katie South to win:
4th in YKC handling & 2nd in Junior handling! Well done Katie!
I was also fortunate  to be given the opportunity of showing Cookie who at just 6 months was attending her very first show.
Cookie - Dalendale Dakota at Dalorno is Taylor's full younger sister
and is sired by Jabbawock The Sorcerer at Ribblehill.
Like her brother, Cookie surpassed our expectations by qualifying for Crufts with a 3rd in Puppy bitch
(12 entries) and a 1st in Novice!
Her mummy Linda Longworth was a very happy bunny!!
 
12th August 2010 - Charlie's puppies
This evening we had a lovely visit to see the 17 day old puppies out of our Charlie - Jabbawock Juxtapose
and Tilley - Aritas Arrival at Caprilli.
So nice to see a bunch of healthy, chunky puppies who are already quite advanced for their age.

3rd August 2010 - Paignton Championship Show
Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot has done it again!
1st in Limit dog under judge: Heather Stickley.
More importantly, both Taylor and I finally got the partnership right and he moved beautifully on a loose lead! Good boy Taylor!
 
1st August 2010 - Exciting times!!
Today, Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot mated Ruby - Jabbawock Ministry of Magic.
Ruby is owned by Cath & Anthony Knight who have been considering having a litter from Ruby for some time. Now they have decided to go ahead and breed under the Jabbawock name and we are more than confident in both them and their capabilities to uphold our very high standards in quality and care of both the puppies and the potential owners.
Ruby has been hip-scored, BAER hearing tested and has full dentition. Like the sire she has a lovely temperament and we believe she is a very good example of the breed.
I will be creating a new web page for Ruby in the next couple of days along with a future litter page.

31st July 2010 - British Dalmatian Club Championship show
Today Taylor- Dalendale Quiet Riot won 2nd in limit dog under judge Diane Dinsdale.
We also got to see Otto - Jabbawock Jump the gun and his owner/handler Sarah, who has just started showing and has been quite sucessful with him. It's great to hear he is just as good being a well-behaved companion at home!
 
29th July 2010 - Goodbye old friend.
This evening we have said our goodbyes to our first UK Dalmatian: Wiilow - Shirobekko Oscar Toffechoc. At 15 yrs of age, he has soldiered on for far longer than we expected. My fabulous, talented obedience dog. Ever faithful, ever loyal and the best companion a girl could have. He taught me everything he knew.
Run in peace with me by your side darling.
 
 
26th July 2010 - Charlie's news!
Today our Charlie - Jabbawock Juxtapose has become a very proud father of 7 puppies. Thanks to the hard work of Tilley - Aritas Arrival at Caprilli.
Combining some lovely spotnik lines we are quite excited about this litter.

18th July 2010 - North of England Dalmatian Club Limited Obedience show
What a lovely day again!
Vanilla - Jabbawock Jet Propelled surpassed my expectations by winning the beginners class out of 6 entries - what a star!
Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot also did far better than expected coming in 3rd!
This was both Vanilla's & Taylor's first ever obedience competition.
 
Charlie - Jabbawock Juxtapose then carried on the good luck by winning both the Novice class and the Class A Obedience!
He worked the best I have seen him go today and I was so very proud of him! Good boy!!

17th July 2010 - North of England Dalmatian Club Champ Show
Lovely day today - caravanning at the show for the weekend with our dogs.
Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot won 1st in limit dog again and this time both he and I showed really well as a team!
Vanilla - Jabbawock Jet Propelled was unplaced in Junior bitch - but I was really pleased with her progress and how well she showed.
 
2nd July 2010 - Windsor Ch Show
Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot was at Windsor show today under judge: Johnathan Goulding and won 2nd in limit dog. what a clever boy!
 
26th June 2010 - Charlie news
Charlie's girlfriend Tilley - Aritas Arrival at Caprilli has been scanned and it is confimed she is in whelp! 
 
25th June 2010 - Blackpool Championship Show
We showed Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot today and we won 3rd in limit dog. So far at the tender age of 21 months Taylor has been in the top 3 placings in all his limit classes! Many thanks to Lucy for being 'kennel maid' today!

22nd June 2010 -
Ruby is a 3 yr old liver bitch and is out of Comfrey - Jabbawock the Ringleader
& Quinto - Gwynmor Quality Label. She is owned by the Knight family.
She has a lovely laid back temperament and we feel she is a very good example of the breed.

12th June 2010 - Companion show
Today Vanilla - Jabbawock Jet Propelled went to a companion show near Swindon and we were really pleased to see her show confidently and go on to win Reserve Best in Show! So nice to see her finally starting to get over her scare and to satrt showing her true outgoing nature in the ring!
 
6th June 2010 - WEDDING!
Today, Phil & I finally got married (after 16 yrs together) in a truly Dalmatian - spotty wedding. Such a fantastic day, surrounded by family, friends and lots of Dalmatians, which made it all the more special.
 
4th June 2010 - Southern Counties Championship Show
A lovely day with Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot winning 1st in limit dog.
At only 20 months old, this means he gains his KC Stud book number and is qualified for Crufts for life.
I also enjoyed the opportunity to show Bungle - Jabbawock Jailhouse Rock to win 2nd in junior dog.
  
31st May 2010 - Bath Championship show
Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot won 3rd in Limit dog
Bungle - Jabbawock Jailhouse Rock won 4th in Junior dog
and we were also represented by Tilly - Jabbawock The Jezebel in Junior bitch.

27th May 2010 - Exciting News
This week our Charlie - Jabbawock Juxtapose has mated Tilly - Aritas Arrival at Caprilli.
Tilly is co-owned by Stephanie Yates & Sarah-Jane Bonner and will be combining some lovely Spotnik lines.
We are all crossing our paws for a successful outcome and we are very excited about this combination, and of course very honoured that Charlie has been chosen by such a responsible, dedicated breeder.

6th May 2010 - Birmingham National Championship Show
We just took Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot to this show and in his very first time with the 'big boys' in post graduate, he got 2nd, which was lovely!
 
1st May 2010 - British Dalmatian Club open show
A lovely day at this show, meeting up with friends etc.
Comfrey - Jabbawock the Ringleader won 5th in Open bitch
Vanilla - Jabbawock Jet Propelled won 4th in Junior bitch
Bungle - Jabbawock Jailhouse Rock won 2nd in Junior dog
Hazel - Ir & INT Ch Kasara Truly Scrumptious won 1st in Senior Veteran bitch
& Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot won 1st in Graduate Dog.
Charlie's daughter Mabel - Bekehren Eleysian was in the final 8 in limit bitch.
 
17th April 2010 - Isle of Wight Open show
Our neice Katie South and I had a lovely day in the Isle of Wight. 
Vanilla in AVNSC Post graduate won 2nd.
Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot who won AVNSC Open, Best AVNSC and Utility Group 3.
 I then won 3rd in adult handling.

Katie however surpassed herself, showing Comfrey (2nd in AVNSC Open), by winning both Junior handling 12-16yrs, then YKC handling 12 - 16 yrs and then Best overall JH & YKC handler!!!
this means katie has qualified for the YKC handling classes at CRUFTS!! Well done Katie & Comfrey!!
 

13th April 2010 - Our NEW Training Club
We have finally sorted out a few pages on this website for our new venture -

It's very exciting to finally be back to dog training in my own club - and we will be starting in May 2010.

4th April 2010 - Chippenham & DCS Open show
A lovely day today, with good company!
Vanilla - Jabbawock Jet Propelled won 1st in Junior
Comfrey - Jabbawock the Ringleader ShCM won 3rd in Open
Our neice Katie South  (under judge Marina Soctt) then won her Junior handling class with Comfrey and Best Overall Junior Handler!
I then won 1st in Adult Handling!
It was also lovely to meet up with the Knight family, who have two Jabbawocks - Alfie and Ruby.
 
 
20th March 2010 - Adult Handling Finals
Today was the Coventry & Ladies Kennel Society Adult Handling Finals.
Qualifyers are held all over the country and I was lucky enough to qualify at Southern Counties Championship Show last year.

There are 4 age group classes. I was in the third one and with Comfrey showing really well, I was able to win this class!
It has been my dream to win one of these classes at the finals for over 5 years.

But then, I went up against the other 3 class winners and then won Best Overall Handler!!
Many thanks to the judges Alan Carter and Sally Gibbins and to all the other adult handlers for their kind words and sportsmanship.
Fantastic day!!

18th March 2010 - 
 I've been to visit a lovely litter of Dalmatian puppies today, bred by Rita Stokes of Elaridge Dalmatians - in Uxbridge. Rita still has 4 lovely liver bitches looking for homes, so if you think you can offer a fabulous, loving home to one of these sepcial puppies, please give her a call on 01895 234987. I can highly recommend both the breeders and the puppies.
 

13th March 2010 - CRUFTS 2010!  
What a fantastic day! Our Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot won 1st in Yearling Dog and was very well-behaved today!
Bungle - Jabbawock Jailhouse Rock won 2nd in Special Puppy dog, beautifully handled by Lucy!
Vanilla - Jabbawock Jet Propelled won 5th in Special Puppy bitch and was so much better and confident today, I am really proud of her progress, since her scare!
We also had Tilly - Jabbawock The Jezebel in the ring, who showed beautifully in Special Puppy bitch!
I am very proud of all our babies and their humans! It was also lovely to meet up with so many friends!
 

8th March 2010 -
Well, we will be getting ready for Crufts this week - Dalmatians are on Saturday 13th March. We would like to wish all the Jabbawocks attending the very best of luck and we hope you all enjoy your day. Win or lose, we all take the best dog home with us!!
 

6th March 2010 - Swindon Open Show 
 We went to Swindon Open Show today and we were well represented by Jabbawocks in force!
Comfrey - Jabbawock The Ringleader won 2nd in Open
Vanilla - Jabbawock Jet Propelled won 2nd in Junior
Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot (Wiglett's son) won 3rd in Post Graduate
Tilly - Jabbawock The Jezebel won 3rd in Junior
Bungle - Jabbawock Jailhouse Rock won 4th in Junior
and Mabel - Bekehren Elysian (Charlie's daughter) won 2nd in Post Graduate.
Katie our neice was handling both Comfrey and Bungle in the breed today and went on to win 2nd in Junior handling. I then won 2nd in Adult handling.
So nice to have all the Jabbawocks together and have a good chinwag!!
 

28th February 2010 - Fantastic news!
We are very proud to announce that Comfrey - Jabbawock The Ringleader has finally won enough points to gain her Show Certificate of Merit! (subject to KC confirmation)
She won her final points in style by winning Best of Breed and Utility Group 1 at Cheltenham & DCS Open Show. Comfrey was handled by our neice Katie South, who also went on to win 1st in Junior handling 12-16yrs and then Best Junior handler overall!!
Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot won 1st in Graduate and Vanilla - Jabbawock Jet Propelled won 2nd in Junior.
 
20th February 2010 - Joint Dalmatian Club Championship Show.
Bungle - Jabbawock Jailhouse Rock & Vanilla - Jabbawock Jet Propelled were in Junior for the first time. Both were unplaced but are really improving all the time and I was very pleased with them.
Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot was 3rd in Junior dog
Conner - Jabbawock The Conquistador at Dalmark was 3rd in Limit dog
Mabel - Bekehren Eleysian (Charlie's daughter) was also showing in post graduate, handled by Kevin Ganter. Kevin has worked really hard with Mabel and they did a lovely job in the ring.

6th February 2010 -
Wiglett - Jabbawock The Sorcerer at Ribblehill is the very proud father of 13 puppies this morning! 5 girls  and 8 boys!! These have been bred by Sharron Scott (Dalendale Dalmatians) and are from a repeat mating that produced our Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot. We wish Sharron the very best of luck with them and I can't wait to go and see them!!
If you may be interested in offering a fabulous, loving home to one of these babies, please contact us and we will pass on Sharron's details.
 
31st January 2010 - Henley Open Show We went to Henley Open Show today, under judge John McCarthy.
Vanilla - Jabbawock Jet Propelled got 2nd in Puppy,
Bungle - Jabbawock Jailhouse Rock won 1st in Puppy and Best Puppy in Breed. 
Comfrey - Jabbawock The Ringleader won Open Bitch
and her grandson Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot won Junior, Best of Breed and Utility Group 2!!
 
Comfrey was handled by Katie who also did a lovely job in the Junior handling classes. I won 2nd in Adult handling and Bungle's mummy Lucy Thomas won 5th in the senior YKC handling class. We all had a lovely play in the park together during the show - very interesting with a bouncy Vanilla!! Great day and good company!!

23rd January 2010 -
I have added a new page for Otto - Jabbawock Jump the gun. I haven't managed to take a good recent photo of him yet, but there is a link to see a video clip of him showing at the British Dalmatian Club Show. Enjoy!
 
19th January 2010 -
I have added a new page. On the 'Our Dalmatians' page, there is a new link to the 'other Dalmatians bred by us' page. On here we have Wiglett & Snoopy and a new addition - Bungle.
I am hoping to add Tilly, Conner & Otto eventually and also the 'stay at homes' page. Just waiting for additional photos etc! Please be patient!!
 
17th January 2010 - Yeovil & DCS Open show 
This was Vanilla's first proper all-breed open show and although a little worried at first, she soon realised how many new dogs there were to play with and she did very well. She won Best puppy in breed. Taylor was far too excited and despite a good walk before judging, only got 3rd (he's a bit of a hooligan!). Lucy Thomas came with me today to show Comfrey (as she was in the same class as Taylor), she did a lovely job and won Best of breed with her and 2nd in adult handling. Good job Lucy, thankyou!!
 
14th January 2010 -
We have put some new photos of Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot, on his page.
Sharron Scott of Dalendale Dalmatians - Taylor's breeder, is doing a repeat mating that produced Taylor.
Using Wiglett again - Jabbawock The Sorcerer at Ribblehill.
This mating combines lines of Jabbawock, Dalmark, Spotnik and Appaloosa dogs.

10th January 2010 - Boston Championship show A very good day at Boston Championship show, where 3 of us braved the snow to show under judge: Alan Talbot.
Taylor - Dalendale Quiet Riot won 1st in Junior dog
Bungle - Jabbawock Jailhouse Rock won 2nd in puppy dog and
Otto - Jabbawock Jump the Gun won 1st in puppy dog - at his (and his owners) very first Champ show)
This qualifies all three of them for Crufts in 2011!!!
A big well done to you all and not forgetting Lucy and Bungle getting 2nd in the YKC handling.
