Proposed new Breed Number System

A new Breed Number System is being proposed using EMS Codes as a replacement for the existing GCCF Breed Numbering System. The EMS System uses a combination of letters and numbers to describe the breed. Used by FIFE the EMS System has widespread adoption throughout many parts of the world. These codes will be reviewed at the June Meeting of the GCCF Council.
