Shadow competes for the first time at Yorkshire Carriage Dog Trails 27th May 2007.
Amoungst her scores she got 100/100 for her stay :-)
& a vet score of 98/100 !
The Nationals coming up, with not having our own ride we were not ready to compete in Silver yet so we decided to work on our score and compete at Bronze level again so we could join in :-) This time we managed 100/100 for recall, 100/100 for Hock, 95/100 for Speed, & 95/100 for Hock with Distraction!! & completed in 1hr 3mins. Well Done Shadow !!!
We had never done any obedience with Shadow until we were looking to compete in the Carriage dog trials, as such we thought for safety we would clean up some of her skills and enrolled in a training class. They all love her at training and in a short few months so far Shadow has ..
She has been in a few displays so far, has been in the local paper representing the display team for the club too ! Has Gained her
On the same night she also gained ...
We are Very proud of Shadows achievements in such a short time!!! & on the 25th of October she also Gained her ...
Shadow has been a complete star for me in her training. She will now be on the Club Display team on Saturday & Sunday at Crufts 2008 for the Kennel Club Safe & Sound Scheme !!! She is also going to continue on to do the Club Platinum award too :-)
2006 Saw Shadows 1st Litter arrive so she had a well earned break! :-)
We have some georgeous babies from her who you can see on their page, along with their acheivements.
A MASSIVE Accheivement for us, Shadow did amazingly despite a horse who hated dogs and did Not want to walk unless another horse was infront!!!, which as you can imagine became Very problemental for the obedience test !!!
We had a wonderful day Thanks to our Judge & all who were there & hope to do it again soon :)
Shadow also got a writeup from our local paper which they postponed for a week so she would get a whole page !!!!
Shadow was a wonderful show girl, her tail was always wagging and her movement was to die for !! She was often in classes of 20plus at almost every show. We had some lovely wins with Shadow, But unfortunatly we Never got one single critique for her :-( Even for all her 1st places!!! We know what a wonderful girl she was, thou it is a little dissapointing when you do get placed highly and still never find out the judges comments :-(
