Wingers Weather

GFM at Glastonbury Festival 2007. This year in glorious daylight!!

Wingers Weather Is Back!!

Yes, he's "ad hoc", yes, he varies between a forecast every 20 mins and then 1 every 6 months, but he's always accurate.

Saturday 11th August 2007 - Early Weather Warning for Glastonbury

We are expecting some severe weather moving into our region from Monday evening onwards.
A period of very heavy rain & damaging winds will roll off the Atlantic,
two very deep depressions are heading our way. Rain fall totals could reach
in the region of 90mm, with flash flooding a high possibility. The winds are a
real concern, Severe gale force winds, could reach storm force in exposed area's,
wind speeds could reach & exceed 80mph, so damage to property could well happen.
I will give a update on Sunday evening.
Well until then, Saturday will stay warm & dry, Sunday will
have a mixture of Sunshine & showers, some heavy & Thundery,
these should clear by Mid-day as things begin to dry up.
Coming back to Monday Evening onwards, i must stress this
is not looking good, even the ducks will take a hiding this time.....
