DO YOU SQUAWK, TRILL, HOOT, BOOM, GURGLE, SQUEAK OR QUAVER?

Whatever sort of singer you are, WE WANT YOU!  All ages, levels of ability and experience equally welcome.

Come and find out what it's all about every Tuesday in the Music Suite at Ivybridge Community College 7.30-9.15.  There will be regular Tuesday rehearsals (except for half term week) until the performance.  There is no charge for your first session - after that it costs just £3 (or £2 unwaged) per session.  If you'd like to come as a whole family, talk to David and we can probably offer you a further discount.

Composer David Haines will direct the choir.  He's been running the highly successful Teignmouth Community Choir since 2004, and plans to run Ivybridge Community Choir very much along the same lines, practising and performing a wide range of styles of music from around the world, plus a selection of his own very catchy, contemporary music.  Take a look at Teignmouth Community Choir's website to get an idea of what they do and what Ivybridge's new choir will soon be doing.  There's lots of information and links where you can listen to the choir performing.

Here are the participants at Ivybridge Community Choir's very first session on 17th July 2007
