 The above chapel on Fishponds Road was demolished in the late 1990's, along with several others. Thsi one is now a van compound! It was owned by Avon County Council and was sold on, despite our efforts to secure it as a premises for the use of the community. Any information about its history would be very welcome.  |

Regular joint evenings of praise are held with most of the local churches supporting, several times throughout the year around the area - contact your local church minister for information, or watch this page! The next event is planned for June and will be an outdoors event in Fishponds Park.
Let there be respect for the earth, peace for its people, love in our lives, delight in the good, forgiveness for past wrongs, and from now on, a new start. A MILLENNIUM PRAYER FOR OUR AREA Lord God, maker of all that is good, we praise you for the wonder of your creation and thank you for loving us with the constancy, patience, forgiveness and gentleness of a tender parent. As we celebrate with joy the beginning of another Christian century, we pray that our hearts and minds may grow in the wisdom and love of God the Father, that we may more closely follow the way of God the Son, and that we may become more open to receiving the peace of God the Holy Spirit, so that in all our comings and goings we can radiate and share the many blessings we have received, that all your people may come to know and love you, and this world can be filled with your glory. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
