In our first photograph our mechanical auger is first used to auger the mini pile bore hole to take concrete foundation.Into this then wet concrete we set purpose galvanised decking shoes to support our timber components.Each foundation is designed in such a way as to spread the loads of the deck and users weight and live loads evenly.We design with the regulation spans as a minimum standard.

Picture above shows the purpose galvanised anchor cast into concrete foundation. Thus ensuring the timber is not in ground contact nor concrete. A vital design element we always build into our deck components .

Here can be seen our principles again.timber is not in contact with wet wall. Another method of anchor we sometimes use on solid areas using designed bolt down anchors with the timbers again free of ground contact and maintaining air circulation to prevent premature rotting!Also in forground can be seen deck protector liquid and galvanised joist anchors used at beam junctions.These are seen in place in earlier photograph at start.

As can be seen here, the quality heavy decking planks are being systematically screwed in place to ensure the whole structure is a solid well constructed  platform for its owners to enjoy for many years. Each board is set with a small gap to its adjoining plank to allow for seasonal movement.
