"Crottly crabs"

The price advised will be based on the forecast SP in the Racing Post and the price you can lay the crab on Betfair at the time I update the site.
 
I also give my selection for the crab's race.

There has been 33 crabs so far this year of which 19 were beaten for a strike rate of 59% and a net loss of £125.10 for 2010.

Following feedback from visitors to the site, I will give my selection for the race in which the crab is taking place if it is not from the meeting previewed on the "Horse Racing" page.

The recommended stakes above is based on commission of 5% however this will be lower based on your level of activity on the exchanges and your profit will be higher than that stated if a lower rate of commission is charged on your account.

Some of the prices advised to lay with selection will be higher and others lower which should balance out over the year. The lower you are able to lay the selection the more profit and vice versa with those that drift to a bigger price than advised.

During 2002 there were 387 crabs of which 298 were beaten giving a strike rate of 77%.

In 2003 there were 310 crabs of which 221 were beaten (74.6%) and in 2004, 261 crabs were advised of which 201 were beaten giving a strike rate of 77% and a profit to recommended stakes of £201.01 and in 2005 there were 318 crabs of which 244 were beaten (76.73%) and the profit to recommended stakes were £554.59.

In 2006 there were 316 crabs of which 241 were beaten {76.26%} and the profit to recommended stakes was £1005.85 and in 2007 there were 219 crabs of which 148 were beaten {67.6%}and the profit to recommended stakes was £70.30.

In 2008 there were 142 crabs of which 92 were beaten {64.8%} and a loss to recommended stakes of £106.35 and in 2009, there were 89 crabs of which 63 were beaten {70.8%} and a profit to recommended stakes of £280.75.
