Shire Trust / Charity Bets

Each week I do a £10 bet to raise money for the Shire Trust who raise money for East Stirling Football Club and another £10 with all winnings going to a different charity each week.

Above - The Shire come out for the second half against Berwick Rangers on 6 February 2010. As you know I follow the fortunes of East Stirling and from 14 November 2009, I have decided to do a £10 bet each weekend to help raise money for the Club. The Shire Trust selection for this weekend is MIDDLESBOROUGH to beat Reading at a best priced 11/10. From 1 February 2010, the money raised will go to buy shares in the club which are likely to be available this summer {£30 a share, minimum 5, full details will be on their site in due course}

Each week from 11 July 2009, I will select a horse or sports selection and place a £10 bet on it and any winnings will be donated to charity. The Charity bet for this weekend is BRADFORD CITY to beat Hereford United at a best priced 6/4.
