Was Moses the Lawgiver?

The book of Genesis and first several chapters of Exodus show that God's law was in effect in the earliest days of human history.

I John 3:4 is the Biblical defination of sin.
1Jo 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
(Sin entered into the human world throught the first man, Adam. God's law, therefore, had to have been in existence at the time of Adam!)

Rom 5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
( "sin is not imputed when there is no law." But sin was imputed to Adam. Therefore, there was a law in force in the very earliest days of human history.)

(The word sin is found in numerous scripture which pertain to the time before the Decalogue was delivered to Israel)
Gen 18:20 And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;

Exo 9:27 And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said unto them, I have sinned this time: the LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.

Exo 9:34 And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.

Exo 10:16 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said, I have sinned against the LORD your God, and against you.
Exo 10:17 Now therefore forgive, I pray thee, my sin only this once, and intreat the LORD your God, that he may take away from me this death only.

(Many of the laws found in the so-called "Law of Moses" are often thought to be unique to the time following Israel's departure from Egypt. But evidence indicates that many of those laws were already in existence. For example, tithing and clean and unclean laws are among the statutes and ordinances of the law given through Moses. Yet, we find that Noah, who lived on both sides of the flood, knew the difference between clean and unclean animals)
Gen 7:2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.

(and both Abraham and Jacob paid tithes)
Gen 14:20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.
Gen 28:22 And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.

Heb 7:5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:
Heb 7:6 But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.
Heb 7:7 And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.
Heb 7:8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.
Heb 7:9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.

(The first commandment was the first commandment to be violated by a human being. In the garden of Eden.)
(Adam and Eve obeyed their won lusts; thus, their lusts became a god to them. They submitted to the devil. They put other things ahead of God.)

(Cain also committed this sin by putting his feelings of jealousy and resentment ahead of God's will)
Gen 4:3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
Gen 4:4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
Gen 4:5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
Gen 4:6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
Gen 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

(Then Cain compounded his sin-adding the sin of murder)
Gen 4:8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

(The 2nd commandment was violated in the pre-Mosiac world. If the use of idols had not been wrong in those days, as some have suggested, then why would Jacob command his household to put their idols away? Clearly, idolatry was a violation of God's Law.)
Jos 24:2 And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods.
Jos 24:14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.
Jos 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

(If the ancients served other gods, they did not serve the true God. They were guilty of violation both the first and second commandments.)

(Notice, the men of these nations were committing these abominations BEFORE the time of Moses!)
( We find laws prohibiting adulterous relationships, including incest, homosexuality and bestiality.
They also practiced child sacrifice.)

Joh 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
(Yashua said the devil was a murderer from the beginning. Long before Moses, the devil was a transgressor of God's Law, a breaker of the ten commandments.)

Gen 19:4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
Gen 19:5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
Gen 19:6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,
Gen 19:7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
(Sexual pervisity was rampant in ancient Sodom)
(The Sodomite perverts wanted to appease their sick sexual appetites by committing abominable acts with two strangers. God destroyed themn all in a miraculous fire,-like a miniature Gehenna!
It was God' not man, who created the institution of marriage. Marital unfaithfulness, fornication, homosexuality, and all forms of sexual perversity are all violations of the seventh commandment. all are adultery (Hebrew=naaph).

Gen 20
( Abraham and Sarah sojourned in a place called Gerar. Abraham fearing for his own life, told Abimelech, king of Gerar, that Sarah was his sister; so the king sent for Sarah, to take her as his wife of concubine.
Abimelech was about to commit adultery with Sarah before God intervened.
God prevents Abimelech from touching Sarah and says that such an act would be sin! We see plainly, there, that there was a law against adultery- and this was centuries before the time of Moses.)

Gen 30:33 So shall my righteousness answer for me in time to come, when it shall come for my hire before thy face: every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and brown among the sheep, that shall be counted stolen with me.
( Jacob, in settling on wages he was to receive from his father-in-law Laban, proposed to go through Laban's flocks and herds and remove the speckled, spotted and discolored animals and take them for his own... "every one that is nospeckled and spotted among the goats, and brown among the sheeps." Jacob said "that shall be counted stolen with me."
Obviously Jacob recognized that one who steals is deserving of punishment.
The sin of stealing long pre-dates Jacob.)

Joh 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
(Yashua says the devil is a liar and the father of it.
By lying, the devil led Eve into committing an act which invoked the death sentence. Therefore, the divil's lie was against the woman and was a false witness against god, for he was calling God a liar.)

(Is there any evidence that the sabbath preceeded the giving of the Law at Sinai?)

Ex 16
(It is true that this pertains to the time of Moses, but this was a time preceeding the giving of the Law. God had the children of Israel keeping His sabbath before they reached Sinai!)

(The 4th commandment reads "Remember the Sabbath day..."If the Sabbath were some brand new, never before heard of institution, why would God say "Remember"?)

Gen 26:5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
(Abraham obeyed...)

2Pe 2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
2Pe 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
(Noah, a preacher of righteousness)

2Pe 2:7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
(Lot is called righteous)

Mat 23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
(Abel is called "righteous Abel")

Psa 119:172 My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.
(A righteous man is one who keeps God's commandments.)

God revealed His Law to israel through Moses; but it was Hislaw! Therefore, since Moses did not bring into existence God's laws- Moses's passing from history could not do away with them!
