False Ministers

"For such are false apostles, decietful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works." 2Cor 11:13-15


"Beloved believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world."1John 4:1


"For many shall come in my name, saying I am Christ and shall decieve many." Matt 24:5


"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?" Matt 7:15-16


"For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed." Isa 9:16


(pretty strong stuff. seems to say that we are accountable for our own deeds and knowledge. don't follow blindly.)


"And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He that saith, I know Him and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him." 1John 2:3-4


(4th command -Sabbath- includes annual Sabbaths)


"Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep; for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify you." Ex 31:13


(sanctify- set apart or make holy)


(sign that we belong to God)


"Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,Concerning the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are (my) feasts." Lev 23:2


(God says these feasts days are [His]. Not just for the Jewish people.)
