Tag from Elvis' last Lincoln Continental "Mark V".

ZyWeb

In November 1976 Elvis gave Ginger Alden a white Lincoln Continental, the last he would purchase. On January 3rd, 1977, Elvis and Ginger along with a 15 man entourage attended the funeral of Ginger's Grandfather. Elvis had Ginger's family flown in to Harrison, Arkansas where they drove 20 miles to Jasper, Arkansas for the services which took place in a very small church. Elvis used Ginger's white Lincoln Continental during this 24 hour visit. The local Newspaper reported "The Star is Seen Barely and Briefly. A great photo of this tag is shown on the back of Ginger's car and a second of Elvis entering the car is featured in the article. After Elvis' death, Ginger sold the car to Elvis' friend and collector Jimmy Velvet with the tag still on the back of the Lincoln. Jimmy displayed this car for many years and removed the tag and kept it until this year. Price for this tag and the original newspaper article showing Elvis and the tag. $1000.

Elvis Gold Throne.

I purchased this chair directly from the Presley family. It has been in the family since Elvis' death. Elvis aunt had it reupholstered years ago after the gold material began to fray. I purchased that chair and was lucky to find a small sample of the original gold still under the staples. I used this sample and had material matched to the exact silk like material that was original on the chair. All the original padding and woodwork are still in perfect condition and were not removed or replaced during the restoration. Some great photos of Elvis were taken after Sonny West's wedding and this chair was used in two of the photos. Price $20,000.

Elvis' first Security System.
Before the monitors and alarms there was this hand drawn diagram of Elvis' most prized awards and memorabilia. Elvis used to bring fans up from the front gate into Graceland  from time to time. Fans love memorabilia and they would slip out of Graceland with personal items. The problem was Elvis had so many awards on the walls of the basement poolroom that it was hard to tell if something was missing. Elvis and Marty Lacker came up with the idea of drawing all his awards on paper from his high school diploma, R.O.T.C certificate that were next to million selling record awards. Even photos are listed and who they are of. There are 10 sheets total and dates from the early 1960's. Elvis could look at the paper and see if anything was missing.. This great item was sold to Jimmy Velvet with a C.O.A. from Jimmy. I also have a C.O.A. from Marty Lacker  that states
"This is to state that I was a close friend and confidant of Elvis Presley for over twenty years. I was his Chief Personal Aide for a number of years and Co-Best Man at his wedding.
This is to confirm that I drew and arranged the diagrams that recorded the various types of awards and plaques earned by Elvis In the late fifties and early sixties and their placement and positions on the walls of his basement den in Graceland.
During that period of time, early in his career, he would allow certain people to come up to the house that congregated at the gates of Graceland. At times, there was a full crowd of people in the den. 1 suggested to Elvis that we should record where everything is because we never knew when or if someone wanted to take a souvenir for himself or herself. I also thought it would be a good idea for insurance purposes. Elvis liked the idea and over a couple of days I finished the task. The diagrams basically consisted of an outline of the plaque with its description has written in red and it showed where it was hanging on the wall." Marty Lacker

Elvis' last book..
This is not the same book that Elvis had in his bathroom on Aug 16th but a originial edition of the same book. The "A Scienticic Search for the Face of Jesus" published in 1972. These books are very rare and extreamly hard to find, due to the small number printed. Elvis was always looking for the truth and he died knowing that this book showed  Jesus was a scientific fact and not a myth. Larry Geller wrote me in part, which a copy of the original letter goes  with this book.
"Less than two weeks before his death, Elvis called me. Following is a portion of that conversation as recorded in my diary on August 4, 1977. "...don't forget to get me the best book on the Holy Shroud of Jesus. I really need to look into it. It seems to me that it's definitive proof that Jesus, or Yeshua or whatever His real name is, definitely did walk the earth and for some reason left behind his own cloth that they wrapped His body in that made His imprint..."
As recorded in my diary August 14th, 1977: "I stopped by the Bodhi Tree bookstore to select the books for Elvis (before i flew to Memphis to go on tour on the 16th). There was a large selection on the subject of the Holy Shroud of Turin. I knew that there was a growing interest in it and that many scientific studies have been done; however, I was still surprised by the wide range of books within this category. Of all the books on the shelf, The Scientific Search for the Face of Jesus, by Frank 0, Adams, beckoned to me, and I knew this was the one..." Two days later on August 16th, Elvis' body was found lying on the floor in a fetal position upstairs in Graceland in his bathroom. Elvis died clutching the book I had just given him, The Scientific Search for the Face of Jesus".  by Larry Geller.
                                                 Price $250.
