 
Elvis' Framed Hair From 1973...........
Hair that came from Elvis Presley's hair cut at Graceland in December of 1973. Elvis had just finished his "Elvis Aloha in Hawaii special" and was soon divorced from Priscilla. Elvis retreated to Graceland and recorded new music in December at a Memphis studio. Harold Loyd, Elvis' first cousin let his girlfriend and her friend, Norene Clark use the bathroom near the pool. The two girls noticed that the floor was covered in hair. Harold apologized and stated that Elvis had just had his hair cut that day and the maid had not swept the floor yet. Martha and Norene were ecstatic and gathered as many of the hairs as possible. They took the hair home and placed it in small wax envelopes to give to friends. Most of the hair was kept and stayed in Norene's attic until 1988. This is a great item, the hair is from the original packet of hair and is displayed in a matted frame with a copy of the letter from Norene Clark and a photo of Elvis in 1973. Each frame contains one hair of good length. The frame and the matting my be slightly different depending on availability. Each display is hand made and additional hairs my be purchased separately. The hair has been kept in its original wax paper envelope and may be suitable for DNA testing. A rare photo of the actual chair that Elvis use in the pool bathroom for this 1973 haircut is shown above. Elvis' Green Throne Swatch
I purchased Elvis' green barrel back chair from Jimmy Velvet a few years ago. Unfortunately the owner of Elvis' Hillcreast home reupholstered the chair with a beige fabric. I removed the fabric and I was surprised that a good deal of the original Nogahyde was still present under the fabric. I removed the fabric and original Nogahyde and replaced it with new. These swatches are from the original nogahyde that I removed. Elvis used the green barrel back chair in his only formal family photo session. Comes with a copy of the original documentation from Jimmy Velvet owner of the Elvis Presley Museum. Very limited numbers will be made. Price $100
 
Swatch of Elvis' Limo curtains from the King's 1969 Mercedes Short Wheel Base personal limousine. Purchased by the 'King' himself with Elvis placing $5000 down payment with the balance to be paid over 36 months. I purchased these curtains from Jimmy Velvet. Jimmy was given this car personaly by Elvis at Graceland. The curtains faded over the years and these originals were removed by Jimmy replaced with new ones. You will receive a post stamp size of these curtains with a copy of the original documentations. They are framed the same manor as the hair. Price $125 including frame.
Elvis Gold Curtain Swatch. These gold curtains once hung in Graceland during Elvis' Life, most likely in the 1960's Purchased from Jimmy Velvet and come framed similarly to the hair with a copy of the original documentation. Price $75 including frame.
Elvis Sheet Swatch. Swatch of Elvis bottom sheet from the Lincoln Hilton in June of 1977. This is the best documented bedding related to Elvis Presley. They are documented by the Hilton and PBS that auctioned them off in the late 70's. You will receive a framed swatch of Elvis bottom sheet. Price $75 including frame.
Elvis' Red Curtain Swatch from his Mississippi ranch the "Circle G". At the height of Elvis fame he moved out of Graceland and into a small ranch home of about 1000 sq ft for almost two years. These red curtains hung in the red living room in his ranch home. These were part of Jimmy Velvets collection and a large swatch are featured in the Ripley Believe it of not Museum in St. Augustine, Fla. Price including frame $75
