On January 8, 1941 eleven single Catholics joined together to provide a religious and social service program for the single Catholics of the Cleveland Diocese. This club is known today as The Diocesan Singles Club or CAYOMAW Club (CAtholic YOung Men And Women). The Diocesan Singles Club enables it members to acquaint themselves with other single adult Catholics from all over the Catholic Diocese through spiritual, social, athletic and artistic activities.
Membership consists of between 150 to 200 members, representing all ages between 21 yrs through 60's, with about half men and half women. The Club covers the Diocese of Cleveland, which encompasses northeastern Ohio. About half are east side and half west side of Greater Cleveland.

3.) Single: (Never-Married, Annulled or Widowed)
