NEW BOARD MEMBERS NOMINATIONS:
BOARD POSITIONS THAT NEED TO BE FILLED, IN SUMMARY:
 * PRESIDENT
- Is Leader of the club and in charge at the club General & Board Meetings.
 * VICE PRESIDENT
- Is the backup for President and keeps the club's calendar up to date.
 * SECRETARY
- Takes notes at the General Meetings and the Board Meetings.
 * TREASURE
- Writes checks from the club bank account and balances the check book.
 * TRUSTEES ( 3 )    - Helps makes sure everything runs smooth and helps where needed.

If you would be willing to accept a nomination for a Board Position or want to volunteer for      
a Committee, call Vice President.
 
NOMINATIONS AND ELECTIONS FOR NEW BOARD MEMBERS:
QUALIFICATIONS: (The current president & moderator can waive "time" qualification)
Any nominee for the position of PRESIDENT OR TRUSTEE must be a member of the club for at least two years at the time he/she will take office and served as an elected officer and /or standing committee co-chairman for a minimum of 9 months at the time take office(September).

Any nominee for the office of VICE-PRESIDENT, TREASURER, OR SECRETARY, must have been a member of the club for at least nine months at the time he/she will take office (Sept.).

THE DUTIES OF OFFICERS:
1.  PRESIDENT shall be the chief executive officer. He/she shall preside at all meetings of the general membership and of the Executive Board and shall have the power to call meetings. He/She shall carry out the will of the membership as expressed by a majority vote of the members or of the membership as expressed by a majority vote of the members or of the Executive Board. He/She shall meet with the Board of Trustees once each quarter and consult the Trustees at frequent intervals.

2. VICE-PRESIDENT shall perform the duties of the President in his/her absence. Whenever the President and Vice-President are absent from the meeting, the officers shall preside in the following order: 1. Treasurer, 2. Recording Secretary. The Vice-President shall preserve order and see that officers and members are seated in their proper places at the meetings. He/she will assume responsibility for all club property and see that all equipment is properly maintained.

3. RECORDING SECRETARY shall keep a record of the minutes of the General Meetings and meetings of the Executive Board, as a file of the club's books and papers.

4. TREASURER shall keep an exact record of all receipts and disbursements, make a written report each month to all officers, and give a yearly written summary in September to the general membership, and he/she shall, in addition to a regular checking and savings account, maintain a separate account and record designated as the "Cayomaw Housing Fund".

5. TRUSTEE's (Three)  shall exert a guiding influence on the club and assist the club's programs. The Senior member shall serve as Chairman of the Board, and shall call a meeting a minimum of once each quarter. The Board of Trustee's has the power to impeach or request the resignation of any officer or co-chairman. The Trustees shall keep informed of the committee activities by arranging to have at least one of their number present at a meeting of each standing committee at least once every quarter.
