It is times like this that lead us to question our purpose in this world, our very existence, and what we believe. One of the most popular questions that people are asking is, "If there is a God, how can he allow things like this to happen"?

Without good there is no bad, there is no darkness without light. We see the darkness because it is arrogant, and wants to have status... it flaunts itself, for all to see. Good can be harder to spot... it is humble, and does not do deeds for all to see, does not give with the need for recognition; it is enough for good people to give anonymously, to give simply for the purpose of giving, for the purpose of helping. Giving is in itself it's own reward.

It is important to know in these times of grief, that as calamities happen, wonderful, glorious things happen in life also, at the same time, and throughout. During the attack was no different. Wonderfull things were happening in other places. At the time of the attack, people, somewhere in this world, were getting married, starting new families, exchanging vows of love and a new life. People were going to their jobs not only to help others, but to chase their own dreams for them and their families in the pursuit of happiness. Ideas of new hopes and dreams were given to people through inspiration. Also, new life was being created at the same time; babies were being born. There is much more good in this world that you and I have not and may never see, yet it is there, and it is much more prolific than the few acts of evil we have witnessed.

So, again, how can there be a God, if things like this happen? Let me ask you a question. Do you, or have you ever loved someone? A sister, a brother, son or daughter, mother or father? Who have you loved in your lifetime?

You see, love can not be held in your hand, and you cannot point to it and say, "here it is", or "there it is".

Keeping that love in mind, I ask you, is love real? Can you prove it to me? Because you can not show me the same kind of proof of love that you ask of me for God, neither will I give you proof of God.

America will hunt down those who have helped the perpetrators of this tragedy. We will search for them, sending agents to all the four corners of the earth, and to the ends of the earth. We will find those who have aided and abetted these people. They will be asked to surrender to our custody. If they will not surrender of free will, they will be arrested and taken by force. They will be brought to trial before the free world, and they will be judged as we would like to be judged. If they will not be taken by force and arrested, If they will not be judged as we would be judged ourselves, they will surly be killed. When they are found, it might be better for these people if they had never been born.

There will be great sorrow and regret if more innocent people are hurt by this, and there is that risk, that is why we call it war. However, we must not let these acts go unpunished, these people can not be allowed to roam the earth, they can never be allowed the opportunity to hurt anyone else, anymore. We must do what must be done.

America has tried to be lenient in the past, turned the other cheek before. Look where it has gotten us. We must be careful, yet tough and firm in our dealings. There will be those who oppose us, hypocrites in our midst. Let the dogs bark, but the caravan will continue to move on.

Yes, it has been said, "turn the other cheek". However, we must realize that as we have a living and growing world, also, we have a living God. It is important to know when to turn the other cheek, and when to punish. If we spare the rod and spoil the child, we will all be guilty if they do wrong again, for surly, we are our brother's keeper. If not us, whom? If not now, when?

These people came like theives in the night, and murdered our innocent mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, and children.

Would you not protect your family? If a thief broke into your house in the middle of the night and took your brother's life, would a God fearing person not make sure that this person could not come back and do it again, would they not make sure they could not come back and kill his mother also?

I submit to you, that we are truly our brother's keeper, and our family members are all the people in the world, insomuch as it could happen to anyone of us, in any place or country in the world. We don't know who's mother and father are at risk, only that each of our families are indeed at risk.

Ironically, there is a good side to this. Because of this pestilence, the world is being brought to it's knees, and it will never be the same, and for the better. We will see the world brought together as a result of this, countries standing together and calling each other friends, friends treating friends as brothers, and a new hope and camaraderie that will be heard around the world, such as the world has never seen! Don't blink, watch as the beauty and splendor unfolds in the growth and maturity of good souls in every corner of the world before all our eyes in the days ahead.

If we do not take action, other more terrible acts could be committed in the future, things like bio and chemical warfare, our water or food poisoned... millions could die unspeakable deaths. Some of these things may happen anyway, even against our own efforts. I say this not to frighten you, but to make you aware.

Is there really a god? If there is a God, how would he allow things like this to happen?

Did you ever think about why we have dreams when we sleep at night? Did you ever stop to think about that? I am not talking about the physiological reasons that scientists give us. I am talking about the "why". Is there a deeper purpose? Do you really think that everything that you know of this world somehow happened by accident, by mistake?

We have all awakened at night out of a bad dream, convinced during the dream that it was real. So I assume that all of you who would question God, when you awake from a bad dream, question him then also. Oh what is that, you say? You say you don't?

If you don't condemn God for your bad dreams, then why do you question him now?

I believe that dreams teach us that our life on this earth is only one plane of existence.You can not have good without some hardship on this earth, this is evident by it's design. How would you know the good from the bad, if there is no bad to compare to? Would you really want to live like robots, in a world of pure routine, where nothing bad or good ever happened? How would you know of good things and earthly pleasures? Where would the challenge be, how would you learn anything of importance? Would life be as sweet? What good would it be to live, if there was nothing good to live for? How can you have good without bad? Those are good questions, and I think the answers are in wisdom, the wisdom that is distilled in each and every one of us, given to us by the grace of God.

The reason you do not curse God because of a bad dream is because somehow, deep down in your soul, you too know that although this life is important, there is also another life.

We are the tenants of this earth, and the landlord has given us freedom to decide our own destinies. Would you really want it any other way? There is a God, just as surly as there is such a wonderful thing as love. Additionally, he loves each and everyone of us.

I believe the people who lost their lives are now in heaven rejoicing in glory. They are looking down on us, wishing that we would have the same joy in our hearts. Yet, we ourselves must make the personal decision to be joyful on this earth. You will find a man to be as happy as he wants to be, and that goes for you also.

My only hope is that my few words will touch someone, somewhere. If I can give hope to at least one person, that is the most I can ask for. I want you to know that I love all of you. Please continue to follow your dreams in the pursuit of happiness, and don't be too surprised if you discover the happiness you seek in the very process, that you realize happiness within the very steps of your pursuit of a better life for you and yours.

We will pray for them always... even, until the end of time.
