hoebe is a complete babe. She is calm and laid back and takes everything in her stride. She is quite happy to sleep the day away, which is probably why she has always carried too much weight!!
Although Phoebe is laid back, she certainly isn't a lazy girl, and loves the great outdoors. Following after our Goldies she has always loved water - and the muddier the better. Phoebe is the one you can rely on to be lying on the cream sofa with her legs in the air and completely covered in mud!!

Phoebe has a lovely, gentle temperament. A 'mother' to everyone she teaches the others their manners, but is always washing and cleaning them and generally 'mothering' them, even Declan and Callum!! We kept Mercedes from her first litter in 2003, Now we also have a lovely girl from her second litter in 2004 - Boo!
Mercedes Qualified for Crufts at her first ever Championship Show! ........ Boo! started a career in advertising in 2007 and is currently the new 'face' of a very well known electrical appliance Range!!! Phoebe's other puppies include ; Caldecacre Cordeiro Tajada 'Luca' who also Qualified for Crufts at his first Championship Show! Luca has done exceptionally well in the show ring and his show results and Critiques can be found on his own page by clicking here.
Luca was Best Junior Dog and Reserve Yearling Dog at Crufts 2006!! What a fantastic acheivement for his first time at Crufts!!
Caldecacre Cordeiro Tajada - 'Luca' (Ch. Tyrodal Panther x Margaret's Pride at Caldecacre)
Another well known Phoebe baby is Caldecacre Cadhla Cadencia (Bleu) He has recently done some advertising work in Paris

******************************************* Phoebe had a tumour removed in 2007, and had made a good physical recovery. However, her mind deteriorated very fast. She also lost her eyesight and her balance. Whilst she was bright enough in herself, she was aging very quickly. She had become incontinent, something that would have really saddened her if she had been aware, she was such a clean and proud girl. On 18th January 2008, she had her breakfast as normal, was no different than she had been for weeks, bright, tail wagging, oblivious to everything as she was very senile, but happy. My brother came to look after her and the others whilst I went to Manchester for a few hours. When I got home she was still the same, but after her tea I let her out and she lost her balance again and fell. She grazed her face and didnt even realise she was bleeding, she was also doubly incontinent. Seeing her in that state, I had to make the hardest decision I have ever had to make. Phoebe went to the Bridge to prevent further suffering and any further loss of dignity. A very special girl, a Mother to everyone, she will be sorely missed. Her fantastic nature, and beauty will live on in her son's, daughter's, grandchildren and beyond. Thank you Phoebe for letting us share your life with you, and thank you for all the memories, and of course for Boo and Mercedes and your other children. Run in the clouds with Sally, we will see you again one day.
