Mr and Mrs Harry Ragsdale White of Seabrook celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Dec 20 at the Stagecoach Inn in Salado. The luncheon was hosted by the couple's children, Dr Carole White and husband Michael Collins of Bartlett, Vicki Johnson of Pearland, and Barton White and Allen White, both of Seabrook. Mr White married the former Carole Jean Ware on Dec 20, 1958 at Bartlett Church of Christ in Bartlett. Brother Noel Grisham officiated. Mr White is employed as the technical director at Polyone Corporation where he has worked for 30 years. Mrs White is a homemaker. Mr and Mrs White grew up in Bartlett and graduated from Bartlett High School. They have lived in Seabrook for 30 years. They have 2 grandchildren, Amanda Rae Johnson of Pearland and Harry Barton Ragsdale White Jr of Seabrook. Mr and Mrs Charley Mack Gotcher of Holland celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec 27 with a family dinner. They have two children, Dr Billy Mack Gotcher of Palm Harbor Florida, and Wendie May Castillo of Temple. Mr Gotcher married the former Judith A Walker on Dec 27, 1958 at Belchertown Methodist Church. Mr Gotcher retired after 35 years as a military master sergeant and a postmaster. Mrs Gotcher is retired after 20 years with the U S Postal Service. After their first retirement, Mr Gotcher began working for Eagle Security and Mrs Gotcher began pastoring the United Methodist Church in Granger. The couple has lived in the area for 40 years. They have 7 grandchildren and are expecting the birth of their first great-grandchild. Pospisil Retires From Wilsonart Johnnie "Pops" Pospisil of Bartlett retired from Wilsonart on Dec 12. His career at Wilsonart began on April 1, 1968 in the pressing department. He also worked in the panel division, drove trucks, and was in the speciality products building working in warehouse maintenance at the time of his retirement. A party was held in his honor on Dec 12 where he was presented with a 40 year certificate, Glass Plaque, pocketknife, and a Wilsonart jacket by Bill DiGaetano, president of Wilsonart; and leon Zavodny, Johnnie's supervisor. Johnnie is the son of the late Johnnie F and Angie Pospisil.
