Barley, as she is known to us, is a consolidation of most of our breeding, typical of her parentage and particularly so of "Polka" progeny. Barley has that type the breeders crave, together with an elegant head, dark eyes and again that special something.
In her show career she won 11 CCs, including BIS at the GSPA under a visitng American judge, the Bitch CC at Crufts the same year Polka won Res Dog CC from Veteran, plus numerous Reserve CCs. But as with most dogs from Barleyarch, she has brains too, and has proved an invaluable working dog, culminating in her full Champion title at the age of 9, this little lady will spin on a sixpence if you asked her too, such is her bidability!
