Featured below is Show Champion Barleyarch Paxo JW who is sired by Sh Ch Isara Kurzhaar Invader Padesion, out of our lovely Sh Ch Barleyarch Primrose. He is the first male we have kept since our top winning Paris and it is hoped that he will carry on with the Barleyarch tradition of looking good, loving everyone and working hard!
 
Paxo had a very promising start to his showing career winning his "Junior Warrant", many "Best Puppy in Breed" awards at Championship Show level and a prestigious "Best Puppy in Show" at the GSP Club Championship Show. Unfortunately he met with an accident and injured his tail, which led to us having to have him docked as an older dog, which sadly has meant that like all other docked dogs, docked after April 2007, he is no longer eligible to exhibit at Crufts. Following his recovery, he picked up the reigns once again and gained his title quickly and in great style, winning Best in Show at the GSP Association Championship Show, followed by his 2nd CC, BOB and magnificent Gundog Group win, and finally his 3rd CC, BOB and title at Richmond Championship show. Paxo finished his first show season as an adult winning Runner-up Top Winning GSP 2010, 2nd only to our own Sterling to whom he had to take a back seat as both dogs could only be shown in the same class.

Both, his parents have gentle steady temperaments and he too has shown himself to be the kindest of dogs and all who have met him so far will testify. His gundog training is coming along well so far, and has all but completed his first shooting season. He is an enthusiastic hunter, a willing retriever and has been very much admired already on our local shoot.

Paxo is Hip Scored at 2:2, has had a clear eye test, and is also heart tested clear and now available at stud to approved bitches.
