Max, as he was known to us, was never intended to be kept by us. He had been picked by a couple who wanted to buy a dog for showing and at the very last moment they changed their minds and chose another dog, who later became known as Sh Ch Barleyarch Tiger. Max was far too smart to placed in a pet only home so we took the brave step of keeping our first male GSP. His sire Sh Ch Inchmarlo Montana, was already making a name for himself producing special males and Max was no exception to this. He was particularly well thought of by fellow breeders for his type & exquisite head, and by allrounder judges for his sheer panache. Max's awards included 13 CCs, 17 ResCCs and BIS at the GSPA Speciality Championship show.
Sadly we tragically lost Max at just 7 and a half years old leaving few progeny to carry on his genes. However, he did produce a Show Champion plus several other winners including Stormridge Blaze who became the foundation bitch for the very successful Redmires kennel.
