Thank you for visiting the home of Champions and future Champions.
We would like to introduce ourselves to you, our names are Martin and Sue Harris. Our small kennel has produced some of the most notable dogs in the UK.
We would be delighted if you could take the time to enjoy with us some of our dogs both past and present.

Stop Press!
Our own Barleyarch Pixie (daughter of Sh Ch Barleyarch Primrose) made her show debut, delighting us by winning Best Puppy in Breed, 1st AV Minor Puppy and then Reserve Best Puppy in Show at Merseyside Gundog at just 6 months old.
2008 has started with a bang, at Manchester Championship Show Barleyarch Alvar won 1st Minor Puppy Dog and went Best Puppy dog whilst his sister Barleyarch Melusine at Mordax also qualified for Crufts at their first show!
What a year 2007 has been for us at Barleyarch. We have had successes we could only dream of, and sadness that reminds us that whatever accolades we might receive, it is our dogs themselves that we treasure most.
Here are just few of our highlights:
- Top Breeders 2007
- Top GSP 2007 for the 3rd year running with Sh Ch Barleyarch Pickpocket winner of an amazing 41 CCs!
- Top GSP male for the 3rd year running with Sh Ch Barleyarch Arun
- Top GSP Sire with Sh Ch Barleyarch Cricket at Keigame
- Top GSP Brood Bitch with Sh Ch Barleyarch Piccadilly for an unbelievable 6th year, who was sadly lost this year.
- 2 new titles won for Sh Ch Barleyarch Persia and Sh Ch Barleyarch Ostria
- 1 Junior Warrant award for Barleyarch Tassimo
Plus many more Barleyarch progeny who have won well in the Field and Showring this year.
A hearty congratulations to all the Competitors concerned and a sincere thanks to all the Judges that have made this all possible.
It is our aim at Barleyarch to maintain both the looks and working ability of the breed, but most of all to produce happy, healthy and sound dogs both in wind and limb that will give their owners many years of love and devotion.
To that end we do not produce countless litters, just a select few using the best dogs from only the soundest of lines, thus maintaining our position as one of the all time top winning and top producing kennels in the United Kingdom.
It has been noted that several kennels have associated themselves with our affix. Please be careful, just because our dogs share an ancestor or two, this does not mean they share any of the characteristics associated with our World Famous kennel.
