A covering for small models is the basis of a superb finish for larger all sheeted models. The tissue provides a perfect skin to prevent wood cracks appearing and a base for the finishing system of sanding sealer and paint. Effort put in with sandpaper and wet and dry will result in the ultimate finish.
The tissue is supplied in two weights light (called Liteflite) and medium (called Superflite).
The lightweight is ideal for very small free flight models whereas the medium is more suited to skinning and larger free flight models.

Litespan
Litespan is an ultra light covering for small models, those that would normally be covered in tissue and dope. It is very light strong and tough and requires no finishing coats.
Application is simular to other heatshrink materials but like the fibafilm litespan it not covered with adhesive and therefore Balsaloc should be applied to the structure prior to covering. Attach to the periphery of a panel and then shrink.

Fibafilm
Heatshrink covering for model aircraft. A super light, fibra reinforced polycester film. For models that need a very light but stiff covering i.e. models that rely on the covering to provide torsional stiffness to the airfoam such as gliders, sailplanes, vintage models and electric powered models.
Simular to Airspan but made from polycester fibre. Balsaloc is required to adhesion.

Nylon 1YD & 3YD
Nylon for open structured models and sheeted areas where strength and the very best finish is required. There is little argument that the extra time required to apply nylon well worth while for the discerning modeller. Nylon will shrink to a very taut state and they stay this way for the life of a model. In fact care needs to be taken to require that it does not overtighten and cause structural deformation on lighter models. Thinning the dope or using a combination of non shrinking and shrinking dope will alterviate this.

Solarfilm 50-Light, Tough, Shrink-On Covering Material
One of the oldest and best essablished names in film coverings. Solarfilm is light and tough and can be used for nearly all models. Iron-on, self adhesive plastic film. Solarfilm is an economical plastic film covering, (polyproplene), and is available in a wide range of colours. It is easy to use with good shrinkage. Iron-on and shrink tight with extra heat.
