Editorial

This is, on the whole, a light-hearted issue, echoing the mood of the staff as Albion Magazine begins to hit its stride.  We have a feature-length article on the English sense of humour, reviews of two comic novels, film articles, and some pieces of light verse.  The music section is especially large this time, due to the efforts of our music writer, who has surpassed himself.  Thanks as well to Robin Hayes, who contributed one of the humorous poems.  Other examples of Robin’s work can be seen on his website.

The Albion site has also been expanded and developed significantly.  We now have a page of relevant links, an email address specifically for feedback relating to the magazine or to the site, and a section in which back issues of the magazine are archived.  As well, there is a new, moderated internet forum for discussions about the magazine.  All in all, things are shaping up nicely.  Thank you for reading, and enjoy the rest of your summer.  –The Editor
