Not perfect, just forgiven?

I had heard that phrase, but it never meant much like I am sure most folks would agree. I never even heard the story of Jesus or who He was or basically "anything" about Him until I was 33 years old. Sure Like many, I had heard about "religion" and following rules and regulations and "churchy" doctrine which made you feel that God was a great big judge in Heaven ready to slam His stone gavel down on us beings here who constantly strayed off the right path....
Well, let me tell you- at least for me, when the "first" friend I ever had that actually cared about me and my eternal destination lovingly explained the TRUTH of the Gospel and what it meant to me, frankly I was sold. You didn't need to hit me over the head with a stack of Bibles. I asked Jesus into my life and accepted Him for my Lord and Savior.... That was 1993. It is over a a decade later, and the same TRUTH exists today. God loves you and has a plan for your life beyond your wildest dreams.
