"The breeding of puppies is not something we do lightly, a great deal of forethought, planning, care and not to mention great expense in.. Hip, Elbow scoring, hearing testing and that is just a part of it!
We NEVER breed a litter just because we can! (we think enough breeders are doing that already)! We believe that one litter at 1 to 3 year intervals - in today's society, is enough breeding! I do a lot of work with our local dog rescue & see so many simply 'nice' dogs that are about to be put down for no better reason than.... There are more dogs than there are GOOD HOMES! The line has to be drawn somewhere! & yes, even club members are guilty of Breeding one litter after another. I wonder why ? or maybe you have noticed on websites...some have always got a litter available or planned on their puppy page!
We try to maintain in our own line what we think the great breeders of the past strived so hard to maintain in theirs, strong bone, tight feet, powerful long striding movement, wide thighs for correct muscle development, all features that are of paramount importance to a roadgoing dog and not forgetting the wonderful Dalmatian temperament!
Our next litter is planned for 2008! However, puppies from Tyrodal lines will be on this page!!
(or enquire! you never no what we have tooked away at home! ) Please pay attention to the fact that Dalmatians are an ACTIVE breed with an ACTIVE mind! They need a one to one partnership with their owners and are happiest when your attention is with them! they are least happy living life as a pack!
Or...maybe, you could consider giving an older rescue dog a chance of happiness! Check out our 'Adoption' page for further details.
