My partnership with Dalmatians, began in 1968 at the age of 11. When times, dogs and the relationship between exhibitors and breeders was very different to that of today! 2008 will be 40 years shared with this wonderful breed!
In the best interest of the future health & welfare of the Dalmatian We have imported 2 Dalmatians from the US BACKCROSS PROJECT LUA Dalmatian
(now in its 14th generation Down) in order to restore the normal gene to the breed.

Dedicated and committed to responsibly, intelligently & with compassion - maintaining and improving the Dalmatian by breeding for health, temperament and functionally correct working conformation. In our breeding program - we NEVER consider showring fashion, politics, or 'judges decisions'! only the mind & physique of the DALMATIAN.
We do not inbreed for the showring! instead we choose to EXPAND the genepool by importing new blood for better health & longevity! *We also hip score all breeding stock* And ONLY use hipscored stud dogs (there is no use in only one parent being hipscored, after all we would not use a stud that is not hearing tested) Genes, good or bad, come from BOTH parents!
Our future policy is to DNA test for High Uric Acid (We have the ONLY Dalmatians in the UK with a copy of the 'Normal' gene).
