Comic Relief is a registered charity 326568. GB5RND was a special event station which tood place on the 11th of March 2005 and again on the 16th of March 2007, Red Nose Day. The station was sponsered by many to raise money for Comic Relief. The really great thing about Red Nose Day is that you can do pretty much what you fancy as long as it raises lots of money! We operated on most HF bands and 2m 6m and 70cm. The pile ups on 20m and 40m were unbelievable - a big thank you to all who called us and supported our fun day on the air. There will be a special QSL card available and you can QSL via the buro or direct. SAE/IRC or donations accepted. Okay on QRZ.com GB5RND was a life changing event - we will be back in 2009.
