We took a minibus of 17 to the Riverside Stadium to witness our 2-1 defeat. We left Bristol at 7.30 and got back at 10.45.
A bumper busload of 21 headed up to Anfield for our 0-0 draw with the Scousers.
15 or so of the South West Stokies converged on Fratton Park for our disappointing 2-1 defeat - since when did those Peter Crouch overhead kicks actually work???
We travelled by minibus to Eastlands. We were able to park in the compound outside the away end and were able to join the police escort with the official club coaches after the game. A quick getaway is just what you need when you've been turned over 3-0!
A car share was arranged for this one. Everyone fell asleep apparently!
Some went by train and some by car for this fixture. We all got to to go to the game - which was a relief! We were able to get tickets for all who required them.
There was pretty low interest in this fixture due to the distance involved and the fact that a few of us went up for the cup game last January and so had already ticked it off our lists. A car share was all that was required.
20 or so made their way up to Stoke to take advantage of the free coaches laid on by the club for this fixture. A fairly decent day out apart from the obvious!!!
As with many of the London fixtures, most people made their own arrangements to get up there. Dave, our travel officer did however organise train travel (taking advantage of cheap seasonal fares) for those who wanted it (although he forgot to book a ticket for himself!) Another decent day out only spoiled by events on the pitch.
Dave and Mike, our determined 100%ers made their way up to the North East on their own. I think the less said the better on this one!
Again, being a London fixture, a lot of people made their own arrangements for travel with quite a few making a weekend of it up in the Smoke. There were good rates to be had at the hotel attached to Stamford Bridge and the wealth of bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity made for a good day and night out... Bloody Frank Lampard!!!
We travelled up in 2 cars for this night game. Mike & co were able to get parked near the ground but the rest of us parked up at Enfield Lock train station and caught a train to Northumberland Park (£4 return & a 10 minute journey. There's also a pub by Enfield Lock station which some Stokies were using). then a short stroll up Park Lane to the away end. Yet again it was all spoiled by the game itself but we're getting used to that!
Mike will send out a text message when he is taking orders for this match. A car share has been arranged.
This game has been moved back from Saturday 28th Feb due to Villa's involvement in the UEFA cup. Again, Mike will let members know when he is taking orders for tickets. There is likely to be high demand for this fixture and it is very likely that we will arrange a minibus for this match.
