GORILLA + GONGA “heavy doom, high energy aggressive, progressive and regressive songs”

Gorilla http://www.myspace.com/mygorillaspace

"Their third album, Gorilla finally define their unique heavy rock style to perfection. Rock Our Souls contains heavy doom, high energy aggressive, progressive and regressive songs, played in a timeless heavy rock style that Gorilla have made their own. Influences are clear to see, Budgie, Blue Cheer, Grand Funk Railroad, MC5, but played with a rough 'street punk' Motorhead, Pink Fairies, Crushed Butler attitude and style, and an authentic 'vintage' feel and sound. Capturing the essence of a classic era of '60s and '70s rock without sounding cliched is a ridiculously fucking hard, if not impossible self imposed task. But with Rock Our Souls, Gorilla have achieved exactly that. A brand new gem that sounds like a lost classic."   (review from stonerrock.com)
Gorilla have toured Europe extensively including the legendary Roadburn festival and Dunajam festival.

Gonga
http://www.myspace.com/g0nga
Gonga are about riffs handed down from Sabbath, Zeppelin, and Blue Cheer. Imagine The Atomic Bitchwax leavened with Nebula, Dozer or Fu Manchu. It’s blues-based hard rock, with an emphasis on rhythm, thick distortion, and Bonham-like drumming. (stonerrock.com)

Gonga have recorded a Radio 1 session, toured with bands such as High on Fire and Mondo Generator, played at the legendary Donington rock festival and at the Dunajam festival.  They have been cited as an influence on the latest Portishead lp 'third' (mojo magazine), and have even layed down some riffs for the upcoming Banksy film 'exit through the gift shop.'

The ROLLING ZONES the ultimate in “Stones” entertainment !

The Rolling Zones burst to the fore in 2009 when Mick Jogger and Charlie Rocks, both formerly of the Rollin’ Clones, decided to get back on the road after a “sabbatical” spell .

The band quickly came together with Keef Rockhard, Bill Wyldman and Chuck Notwell joining the fold, followed hot on their heels by Ronnie Woodentop. The impetus was there for the launch of this most exciting and entertaining Rolling Stones tribute band !

The show is full of action, colour and above all a real expression of “live” essential Rolling Stones songs, great for listening, dancing and having a wild time !

All the members of The Rolling Zones are very experienced musicians with both Mick Jogger and Charlie Rocks bringing many years of touring and performing Stones material to the mix. The result...a fresh and dramatic interpretation played with a raw, deft yet powerful feel!

WHO’S NEXT, the UK's premier live tribute to The Who.

They capture a magical point in time when many believe that The Who were the greatest rock and roll band on earth. Who's Next's live show aims to recreate this period in the early 1970's with the aid of authentic stage wear and instruments. The result is a time capsule ride back to the days of Live at Leeds, The Isle of Wight Festival, Tanglewood and the Fillmore shows. It is a must for any Who fan!

Their set includes all of Pete Townshend's classic pop songs from adrenaline-fuelled Mod classics such as “I can't explain”, “Substitute” and “Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere” to the psychedelic imagery of “Tommy's” “Pinball Wizard”, “Sparks” and “Amazing Journey”, not forgetting rock anthems like “My Generation”, “Baba O'Riley” and a show-stopping version of “Won't Get Fooled Again”.

Since the band first formed in the summer of 2003 they have toured extensively in the UK and in Europe. Who's Next have performed at Europe's most prestigious music venues and festivals. In August 2007 they played to an audience of over 6,000 people at the Bulldog Bash, Europe's largest biker's festival.

LORD BISHOP ROCKS plus…..

BATTLE OF THE BANDS! FINAL

AN INTRODUCTION TO LORD BISHOP ROCKS – The KINGS of SexRock

Larger than life, from New York City, the sensation that is 'LORD BISHOP ROCKS' – The KINGS of SexRock, who whipped up a huge frenzy since 1999. Sonically, its a highly pleasurable hell-raising assault on the senses. (Cool Hendrix Vibes, James Brown Funk, Nirvana Power and Zappa Humour.) Visually its one of the greatest performances you will ever see. The 3 piece is fronted by Lord Bishop – who many are asking - Is this the new Jimi Hendrix?
Possibly/Yes, some will say, but in reality, No.
For this is Badass black guitarist / singer-songwriter Lord Bishop, and he is like no other.

Already established in Europe as a hugely in-demand artist who has risen to give rock music a mighty kiss in the rear, and a veteran of non-stop euro gigs and festivals in the past few years.

Lord Bishop is the "black giant" (two meters plus 120 kg) from New York City and with his Sex Rock gang produce a daring and crazy mixture of dirty Rock’n’Roll, Funk, sweat, Soul, sex appeal and power.

"LORD BISHOP ROCKS" are the Loudest, Funkiest, Dirtiest Hard Rock Trio to land on the planet Earth in decades. In 2005 the ‘American Lies Tour’ hits countries like Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Romania, Hungary, Italy, Czech Republic, Ireland and the UK with over 180 gigs. Next years plans include LORD BISHOP ROCKS first tour to ASIA i.e JAPAN, KOREA, CHINA.

Those who see the band live, will all leave at the end of the night with huge smiles on their faces from the musical orgasm that is LORD BISHOP ROCKS.

BEN MILLS….of X Factor Fame…but he’s an accomplished musician & Songwriter!

Kent based Ben Mills shot to fame after coming third on series three of the X Factor in 2006. His success on this show resulted in a recording contract with SonyBMG and the subsequent release of his debut album, "Picture Of You", in March 2007.

Since then Ben has travelled the length and breadth of the country, appearing at a range of venues to rave reviews. His natural talent for performing live, coupled with the reputation he has for always giving time to his fans, is securing him a very strong following.

As well as being an accomplished musician, playing both the guitar and piano, Ben is also an extremely talented songwriter. In June 2009, established soul singer, Mica Paris, released her "Born Again" album and included a cover version of "Nothing But The Truth", having fallen in love with the song when she heard it. Ben has also co-written a song called "Old Habits Die Hard" with Irish singer/songwriter, Marc Roberts, for Marc's latest album, "The Promise".

Over the past year Ben has dedicated time to writing and recording material for his second album and previews of some of these new songs can be found on his Official MySpace page.

In addition to pursuing his solo career, Ben recently formed and fronts the Rod Stewart tribute band, Simply Rod.

Ben is the patron for two local charities, Walk With Michael and Miles Of Smiles : Kent Kids. He also actively supports Demelza House, a children's residential hospice in Sittingbourne, Kent.
