THE VICAR'S SURGERY HOURS
To book Weddings and Christenings and for other non-urgent pastoral matters the Vicar has a Surgery Hour in the Parish Church (entrance nearest to the car park). DURING WINTER MONTHS (October - April) Surgery Hours take place STRICTLY BY APPOINTMENT on either Wednesday from 6.00pm or Saturday from 10.00am
WE REGRET THAT WE CANNOT DISCUSS BAPTISM OR WEDDING ARRANGEMENTS OVER THE TELEPHONE. ALL ARRANGEMENTS MUST BE MADE DURING THE SURGERY HOUR.

located on the beautiful North Wales coast, is a busy Parish of The Church in Wales in the Diocese of St Asaph. Our congregations meet at Christ Church (which is the Parish Church, situated on Prestatyn High Street), and the smaller and more intimite Church of The Holy Spirit (situated on Victoria Road, Prestatyn). You are invited to find out more by clicking on the buttons to the left of this page.
We tend to think that Church is definitely about people rather than buildings, and there are many and various activities which happen in the parish, details of which you can find in our weekly Pew Leaflets which are published on this site. Our Parish Church is open daily from around 9.15am until 4.15pm and many people call in to enjoy the quiet atmosphere, to light a candle and to say a prayer. We seek to be a welcoming community for people of all faiths and none. Worship in our churches is centred upon the weekly Celebration of the Holy Communion.
Holy Baptisms and Weddings are, of course, a major part of life in our Parish, and if you live in our Parish or have strong links with either of our churches, then these can be arranged at the Vicar's Surgery which takes place in the Parish Church on a Wednesday evening at 6.00pm or a Saturday morning at 10.00am. We have added new pages to this website to give you some preliminary information before you go any further! Check out the pages via the link buttons to the side of this page.
At its meeting on Monday 12 January 2015 the PCC voted to withdraw the Parish Community Hall from sale for the present time. The status of the Upper Hall and the Car Park remains unchanged. Parishioners are asked to encourage those needing a venue for meetings to use the Community Hall which is a good, clean facility. Four new sets of Eucharistic Vestments has been purchased for use in the Parish Church. The cost per set was £300, and contributions towards the cost of these would be welcome. The Vicar's Vestry is to be refurbished and re-fitted. Work on the refurbishment of the War Memorial is now well under. This grant-funded work is being overseen by the Town Council. The PCC is looking into improving the state of the Church paths at the same time. The War Memorial will be re-dedicated by the Lord Bishop of St Asaph, the Right Rev'd Dr Gregory Cameron on Sunday 19 April at 10.45am.
Our next Sunday at Six Service takes place at the Church of the Holy Spirit at 6.00pm on Sunday 15 March. Refreshments to follow and a very warm welcome to all. Details to follow shortly.
Our next Messy Church Service is on Sunday 22 March at 4.00pm. On this occasion it will be in the Parish Church. The theme of Messy Church this time is "PREPARING FOR EASTER" and there will be an Easter Egg Hunt and fun and worship for all the family. A warm welcome to all.
