How blessed we are to have The Friends of St Martin's.
This group, which was formed in 1996 exists to oversee the social life of our Parish, and it also has a number of significant pastoral responsibilities. The Friends have worked hard in so many areas to build up funds for the beautifying of the Church and for the Maintenance of its Ministry. Of course, we like to think that all members of St Martin's Church are Friends of the Parish, and it must be said that God has richly blessed us in recent years with countless acts of kindness and generosity.

Sat 21st 11am. Confirmation rehearsal at Gresford.

Sun 22nd 4pm. Confirmation service at Gresford.

Sun 29th Easter Vestry Meeting after service.

6pm Deanery Evensong at St. Tudfils, Coedpoeth.

May

Tues 1st Retired clergy meeting in Llay, followed by Evensong.

Thu 3rd M.U. Deanery Festival at Coedpoeth.

Sun 13th 6.30pm Farmyard Service in Is Y Coed.

Thu 17th 10am Holy Eucharist in Llay.

7pm Choir practice in the Vicarage.

6pm Holy Eucharist in Rossett.

Sat 19th. 10am -noon, St. Martin's Spring Fayre.

Tue 22nd 7.15pm P.C.C. meeting in the Hall.

Wed 23rd 7pm Archdeacons Deanery Visitation.

Thu 24th 11.15am Tir y Capel.

Sun 27th 3pm-5pm Teddy Bears Tea Party.

The Patron Saint of our Parish is Blessed Saint Martin of Tours. The picture above depicts the Roman Centurion cutting his cloak in half to share it with a beggar who later appeared to him in a dream as the Christ.
