FOUND PIGEONS. - Identification rings bear a special year number and ring number. Pigeons
bearing a metal ring with the letters NPA are those referring to the National Pigeon Association for example NPA 99 C 1215 and found pigeons bearing such rings should be reported to The Ring Secretary Mr. Graham Giddings, as above.
- He should also be able to advise on rings bearing other letters.
HOWEVER RACING PIGEONS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ROYAL PIGEON RACING ASSOCIATION, THE REDDINGS, - NR.CHELTENHAM, GLOUCESTERSHIRE GL51 6RN TEL: 01452 713529
- Racing Pigeons bearing metal rings with the letters GB thereon should be
reported to their Headquarters as above, birds in races may also have a rubber ring on the other leg.
A VIDEO ON FANCY PIGEONS may also be obtained from The Secretary who will give details of the current cost and postage rates.
THE SECRETARY OF THE ASSOCIATION WILL ALSO BE PLEASED TO SUPPLY DETAILS OF ANY CURRENT MAGAZINE DEALING WITH FANCY PIGEONS.
THE ASSOCIATION PREPARES A LIST OF ALL APPROVED CHAMPIONSHIP SHOWS EACH YEAR WHICH WILL APPEAR IN THE APPROVED MAGAZINE, IN ADDITION A COPY OF THE LIST MAY ALSO BE OBTAINED FROM THE SECRETARY ON APPLICATION.

INDIVIDUAL BREED CLUBS.
- There are 47 Clubs in Great Britain particularly dealing with one breed of
Fancy Pigeon, all are affiliated to the National Pigeon Association.
They are responsible for maintaining and supervising the Standard of Excellence
for the breed they represent. All breeders and judges should conform as near as
possible to that individual breed standard.
If you are interested in a particular breed details appear in the Fancy Pigeon
magazine or can be obtained from The Secretary.
